Super selections. Just an observation regarding Kantara. Everything you mentioned was right, but just that "they consumed what they worshipped" That is not true. If you recollect, it's rogue Shiva who always hunts down Pig (Varaham) consumes it, no one else does it and even his mother always scolds and beats him for the same reason. Until he was reckless, he used to get scared of the Portrayed "holy Varaham" But once he attains realisation, he gets towards it. So i feel that is one place where POV is a bit off.

*Get out* this movie which I saw last yr was very relatable to the book *home* by tony Morrison . Moivetalks about African American ppl how they were still used as working slaves and sex slaves as mentioned in Tony Morrison's book...plus I can relate tht movie a lot with parierum perumal. When the movie starts a deer will be hit by the white woman car(hero's girlfriend)same as in Parierum perumal they tie karuppi to the track.Americans used Africans as slaves ND many died without knowing that they are powerful physically....but this film ends with what happens if the suppressed ppl start to hit back...

I would suggest boondocks(adult swim but youtube layee irukku) It's about black culture representing both the intra racism and inter racism. Follows two brothers huey- the revolutionist, understands how classism works and strives for civil rights and education amoung black community and riley- hip hop driven,violent,gang loving hood kid. It's a great commentary on how people of same community view stuff in different perspective. It also correlates with caste system in india. Instead of watching family guy and Simpsons which highly relies on your US pop culture knowledge, this doesn't require any. Give it a watch.

You should watch succession. It's about how news media agitating and moving publice into alt right and the power they hold.( relatable to north india) and the dominance of capitalists in the society. It's also about how capitalist have exploited working class and general public for years and now it's hitting them back in the form of climate change, health detoriation, political shift( rise of socialism in USA). This show is well received in West but no one seems to talk about it in india. It even won multiple emmys beating even Better call Saul (peak television btw) also watch white lotus which basically is eat the rich, satire on white rich people's lifestyle.
