Srila Prabhupada always liked traditional Bengali Cooking, and so, on the day of his departure, it is only right to cook a traditional Bengali feast.
Feasts in gurukula give the boys an opportunity to learn cooking, spend time together, and also have a bit of fun!

Being a Hindu I was convent educated and the only thing I learned was how to hate myself, and built an inferior complex, most of the time teachers (sisters/nuns we used to call) were humiliating and too strict...I wish my parents sent me to Gurukul to learn these important life skills and most importantly how to love and be respectful to each other. .These boys are precious and I hope they have a good, fruitful life ahead..
