ICF bogies r so heavy it can't handle such high speeds and it has no stability at all LHB r light and it is more stable in high speeds which can handle upto 200kmph if u have traveled in both u can spot the difference very easily

I have tasted very good food at Tiruchi, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil. The tiffins available in the platform also tastes good and price is reasonable. I tasted only vegetarian items and found them to be of good quality. Do not try chapathi because it will be half cooked.

This is a super long train journey because the train runs the entire length of TamilNadu as well as Kerala and finally reaches Guruvayoor......basically runs in a U formation......all the more tiring and boring because it runs during the day. This train slow ? In 80’s one has to take Quilon express (137 - later 6137) starting Egmore at 8:15 reaching Madurai at 8:00 pm Then Madurai Sengottai passenger at 11:00 pm to Tirunelveli - reaching Tirunelveli at 4:30 then first bus 65X to Nagercoil you can reach by 7:15/7:20
