And after all this time it is being proven more and more that Uncle Gus was absolutely correct regarding the American economy and the Soviet Union.

American poltics became so extemly neoliberal during the 80s and 90s that mister Hall would have depressed to see the political and social landscape of today. I'm pretty sure that's why the CPUSA stopped presenting presidential candidates after Reagan re election, whoever was the president did't matter anymore and 2021 proves it.

Hm.... a failing economy and almost 20 years in Afganistan... but without free healthcare during a pandemic. The US is in worse shape than the Soviet Union in 1984.

I dunno man. When was the last time there has been a famine in even any part of the U.S.A.?
@nowhereman6019 Жыл бұрын
@@CrazyGuyoftheWest we'll be seeing them soon enough. The coming climate disaster and capitalisms refusal to change for the needs of the people will guarantee that millions starve in the coming decades.

@@nowhereman6019 naw, Capitalism is literally based on supply and demand, of the people for the people. Things might get more expensive, but a full out famine would be unprecedented and extremely unlikely within this century.

It's because the CPUSA has abandoned Marxism-Leninism and is now a totally revisionist party. American Communists need to look for a new Communist Vanguard.
@akexkdffakdkwicdfkkdkk73433 жыл бұрын
Don't pretend you didn't hear Sam Webb's name and thus that the CPUSA caught the capitalists saying they had come up with lies that required an ironic drama of seeming revisionist so thick with irony that no one would believe they weren't de facto revisionists by having to refute they're revisionists. That's what Sam Webb did. Did you know feudalists and capitalists have been playing two characters like the ones you two are playing right now, with a recurring character named "Brandon Anthony Basham" implied as a third? Gosh, what are capitalists gonna do now they've named someone that name and, naturally, she turned out to be a communist and not a consort of a now-nonexistent city which would have been the only other option but she was born homosexual and thus incapable of marriage to a king? What is gonna give now a two thousand year tradition of claiming the Great Whore of Babylon is a literal real life person named [something like Brandon Anthony Basham, eventually crystallizing into that one name], has ended? I'm sure you got plans, but I'm sure we do too. [Sighs, smiles.] When you're a capitalist, all good things must come to an end.

Casting a protest vote for a "fringe" candidate nearly half a century ago because you find Ford and Carter lousy choices does not translate to "love" or even adherence to Marxism-Leninism. And considering Brennan ended up head of the CIA, continuing the same sort of policies Hall is condemning in this interview (such as arming Islamic fundamentalists against avowedly socialist leaders), it's safe to say he is no fan of Hall today.
