As Spanish 🇪🇸I would say: Spain 🇪🇸 has two brothers/ sisters: Italy 🇮🇹and Portuguese 🇵🇹(we understand each other in our own languages and share the same culture). Each part and region of each country has its small differences, but these differences are what make the difference and notoriety, they make the country more charming. The Latin HERITAGE. I have traveled to these countries for vacations, and I have felt especially good in all of them, as if I had not left Spain, as if I were at home (except for the language, although it was not a limitation because there are similarities) Especially comfortable in Portugal (obvious ) Italy and Greece as my favorites that I carry in my heart ...

I'm Iranian and I grew up in Spain until I was 12. Half my family still lives there and I go back often. I can say, we were one of maybe two immigrant families in our town, and the people of Spain treated us like we were their own. Just a beautiful, welcoming people. Of course, things have changed a little with the huge immigration influx since the 80s, so naturally there are some objections, but the people are still incredibly open and warm.

Actually there is a lot of similarities btw Turkey and Spain, on the surface you might not notice, however in my personal opinion being spanish and living in Turkey for 4 years in diff cities, i could see above all that the people is quite similar, Turkey is my top 1, a lot to see, and stunning cities like Izmir, Antalya, Istanbul etc...and the food is just breathtaking😍🥰, the only bad of Turkey is Erdogan🤣

I love Spain, it was like my 2nd home in the world. I stayed in Cadiz for 3 months and the people were very friendly, sympathetic, welcoming towards me. Tbh, I'm probably wrong, but in my experience is because people don't really see Portugal as this foreign, different country, so it's just assumed that whenever we talk about countries we like (specially in a Southern European context) Portugal is included. I've never met a single Spaniard that has any negative thoughts towards the Portuguese, and people see them so similar to us in almost every aspect that is common to even sort of "forget" to mention them. For comparison, it's similar to the Greece-Cyprus relationship, where Greeks don't mention Cypriots because they're so similar it's hard to even think of them as a different country, if you understand what I mean. I even found myself driving and crossing the border without realising at all until I read a sign written in Portuguese lmao
