Great summation of what makes Monkey Wrench such a gem of an indie animated show. I really hope episode 3 gets more people talking about and bringing attention to the show, because it absolutely deserves it. It's right up there with the YT indie animated greats, imho.

Monkey Wrench is a criminally underrated show. The expressivness of the ainmation is just unmatched by almost anything I've seen even out of even non-indie animated series. I fell in love with it from the moment I saw the Oberon Station fight scene and now I'm putting as much into their Patreon as they will let me.

Monkey Wrench has very quickly become a top favorite of mine, I love how wacky and colorful this show is. I really really hope the show ends up catching the eyes of more people in the future. Shrike and Beebs have become some of my new favorite characters in any cartoon, even though there are only 3 episodes, this show has already become so special to me and I’m willing to support it any way I can.

When i first saw the thumbnail I thought it looked familiar. Then when you mentioned Zeurel I suddenly remember a time i binged some of his works including Sandvich and Poontah! Also for some reason im getting starbound vibes from Monkey Wrench.

Nice video btw, not sure if I've watched this one before, my memory gets a bit funky, tbh just glad to see someone talk about such an underrated masterpiece, the other day tried looking for a discord server for the show, saw that there was none so making my own for the fans to hang out in, hoping to have it finished soon because the fans deserve a place to hang out and to talk about the show and the indie scene as a whole.
