In 2022 Reddit user Electric Queen dropped a post on the Stunfisk subreddit and people went crazy about it. 10k upvotes, memes, artwork, expansions to this relationship’s lore, and now every single chronically online Pokémon fan knows that Ferrothorn is homophobic. But is there more to this story? I set out to UNDERSTAND everything there is to this meme, and actually - I think we got it all wrong.
