This plant has one of the oddest life cycles. It grows into a tree that is actually just a single leaf. Then it withers down to a single flower which all takes an average of 7-10 years to bloom. Then it blooms for only 24-36 hours. You can actually see the next one growing in the background. It looks like a green tree.

It just makes me think, who is it trying to seduce? Some flowers evolved in conjunction with certain pollinators. Who did this evolve with? Like the avocado seed is too big for anything extant to eat whole and spread about, is there a long-lost beast of a creature that this flower is still calling for?

It's a very strange plant, indeed!. The corpse flower is very bloody big...and very horrible to smell as you could guess by the name. Because of the smell it attracts flies rather than bees to pollinate it and it doesn't have to long to do so as...well they die quicker than they grow.

Alan Smithee It would growth until a months sometimes half of the years, they water that plant too because they put it in the pot not a land. If they have that plant in the land, they don't need to change into the pot, they can grow by itself.
