Today we are making a fermented flat bread with only 2 ingredients! (plus spices) and we're going to get a little geeky about what each thing does for our guts.
Fermented dosa batter is a fantastic way to ease digestive issue you might get from these ingredients.
I'm going to show you how to ferment dosa batter in the winter or summer, assuming you have climate control of course.

Love the fact you made a something gluten free - my daughter and I have a gluten allergy and buying pre-made gluten bread/ tortillas is expensive so we don’t each much of it. This will definitely be a recipe I try- thanks again I am really enjoying all your videos!

You might want to look and see if you can find poppadom (sometimes spelled pupadum) they're also gluten free (most of the time) and made with chickpea flour. Trader Joes has a bag of them in their stores near where they have the potato chips. They are gluten free (but double check the ingredients) and they are delicious with pretty much every kind of Indian food. There are also pupadums made by a company called Sharwoods, those are really nice too, but you have to microwave them to get them to "puff".

This was super interesting, thanks for sharing this with us! I also feel the same way about cooking and spices. Growing up I had no idea that fresh spices even existed. I taught myself to cook and season food by watching A LOT of Food Network. After that I became super passionate about cooking and learning as much as I possibly could.

You are so awesome! I have to eat gluten free and have been trying to find a "bread". I am going to try this. I have been eating AIP and they say no seeds until reintroduction. I hear that so many seeds are anti inflammatory so I am sooooo confused. I am going to try the fenugreek though. Thank you, so much!
