This is one of the coolest reactions I've seen to this. You had your boy to root for but you kept an open mind, gave the opponent their fair due and even liked what you saw of his story, and recognized the respect they put on Guts even though the result probably wasnt the one you wanted. Absolutely A plus attitude, I love it.

Not even a berserk fan but just from what I hear about guts and the series, him dying while trying to get one last hit in goin out like a badass is unbelievably fitting and possibly one of the best deaths in death battle, great reaction btw man

That moment when Guts dawns the Berserker Armor in this fight was raw as hell. So much better compared to when he put in on in Guts vs Nightmare. I wasn't too much of a fan of Xander Mobus's voice acting for Guts at first, but that moment really sold it for me. If you ever get around to playing FE:Three Houses, I recommend you start with either Edelgard or Dimitri. Claude's should be saved for last, as his route focuses more on the lore of the setting, as opposed to an individual story. Though, it is worth pointing out that Edelgard's route is technically two routes in one, with the better route being only unlocked after fulfilling certain criteria. Otherwise, it essentially just defaults to another route, that while good, isn't as good in my opinion. There's also FE: Three Hopes as well, a hack/slash developed by the same development team that made Berserk Muso/Berserk and the Band of the Hawk.

Three Houses is the only Fire Emblem game I've played, if you're interested, I highly reccomended, it's got an amazing story and cast of characters

So refreshing seeing someone who really liked and respected the episode despite their character losing. Going into this this was one of my most anticipated episodes cause Fire Emblem is my 3rd favorite series with Dimitri being my favorite from said series and being intrigued with Berserk. Have honestly thought about watching the 90s anime/the manga after this episode. Loved the episode to Death and love this reaction

I already had a horse in the race, Guts. While I wanted him to win, they really handled his defeat to Dimitri very well, and he didn’t let Dimitri get the easy W (Guts in my mind is tenacity personified) and the fact that Dimitri came to respect Guts enough to try to save his soul, that’s one of the highlights of this, the respect shown. Really good reaction on your end, keep at it man.

I'm so glad to see fellow Berserk fans keep their cool. On the main video, so many fans are furious and outraged by the outcome and they deliberately downplay Fire Emblem's powerscaling out sheer spite. They actually downplayed Dimitri's power scaling quite a bit. The meteor that average FE foot soldiers and even what various academy students in the FE Universe are able to cast and trade blows with quite regularly have calculations exceed 15.65 Kilotons of TNT. And there are even bigger meteors in Three Houses that should yield at least a Megaton. And again, that's just how strong average characters in the FE universe scale from. Dodging meteors also doubles as 20,000 m/s given that's the minimum of meteors during the day time. Also, FE characters reacting to lightning bolts was consistently calculated in reactions exceeding Mach 6000. Now that I calculated how strong regulars in FE are; Nuclear tier (Ranging from Town level to Small City level) and Massively Hypersonic+. Dimitri is part of the god tier scaling. Which includes the fact that Sothis was fast enough to travel "Millions of lightyears" in a relatively short time frame. Though that's flight speed, but flapping wings that fast should effect combat speed. And it's combat speed is the only thing that could scale to other characters. Javelins of Light have demonstrated even bigger levels of destruction. According to Cindered Shadows in the underground Library, there were Javelins that nuked entire countries out of existence and caused country sized landmasses to basically sink below the ocean. Results would be measured in the Teraton range; 1000x higher than what was calculated in the video. Sothis also has flooded the entire world when she was injured by Javelins of Light; it's measured in Exatons; tens of trillions of times stronger than Sea God's feat. And unlike Sea God, who is a glass cannon like most gods/demons in the Berserk universe. Sothis is no such thing, she is every bit as durable as she is offensively powerful given that Fire Emblem uses universal energy systems and canonically; all powerful magic users are just as durable as they are magically potent given the interlinking amount of quintessence. And Crests/Holy Bloods are like extended Universal Energy systems, much like what Godly Ki is to Ki in Dragon Ball. So the Major Crest of Flames should make Sothis' physical stats on par with her magical flood manipulation. And Byleth is officially equal to that, whom Dimitri is comparable to with his Heroes Relic. And of course, Dimitri has a whole bunch of hax on top of the power and speed advantages. Also, what happened in Guts' death is that he was wearing Berserk armor. He could not feel pain, but it didn't make him immortal. He ended up bleeding to death and the death struck him without him even feeling it coming. Also, since the Berserk armor "Holds him together", his corpse was just standing there as a result of that. It's being held together by his armor even when he is no longer alive.
