I don't have Alexa or a smartphone. But I have noticed that when I talk about certain topics with my wife or children who do, that I suddenly get advertisements for specific topics that we talk about almost immediately in my social media feed. For example if I talk about wanting a property in the country all the sudden my feed is full of property listings, talk about an illness I get advertising for medications, etc... Don't care what they say, they are definitely listening in.

When 90+% of the media supports Harris and hates Trump, the input of Alexa is off course biased towards Harris. BUT the "glitch" wasn't a glitch. Some computer-nerd hardcoded the glitch into the program. Fixing it took a few minutes, removing 1 line of coding. 100% sure.

As a software developer I can promise you there are bugs in every piece of software you use. That’s actually one of the first things you’re taught in development. Every dev team has a backlog of bugs to fix that are prioritized, and those are just the ones you know of. That doesn’t mean this wasn’t intentional. It seems almost certain it was, but there are definitely “glitches” in software.
