The blunderbuss should be used for crowds of zombies, while the nock gun should be used for tackier zombies such as the zapper.

Btw the headless horseman has a defense buff against knock gun since it does 150 or 250 dmg per pellet

Nock gun is just a less bullet spread blunder, although it is good for crowd control it still gets outclassed by blunder especially when it comes to reload time. Although i will say 250 damage per pellet is insane for the nockgun. And it is why nearly every player uses it when they go late game in endless (high damage for the high zombie health).

Blunderbus should be used when the zombies are near, because it sucks in long range, it can also be useful to kill bombers like carbine in normal and hardcore mode Nockgun is usefull to when the zombies are all pilrd up or there are 2 or more zappers, and the fact you can choose how many bullets ro insert in the nock gun it's also great, less time to reload for a musket with great damage

I think yhe blunderbuss is just kind of like a high damage sliw reloading carbine because it doesn't really spread like the blunderbuss, blunderbuss is AMAZING for crowd control, especially that one walkway in San Sebastian

One is a predecessor of modern day shotgun, good for crowd control of shamblers, while the other is a handheld cannon loaded with grapeshot, good for long tankier line of shamblers (and zappers) Regardless, we still melee our way our into the map once we fired both of these weapon🗿

nock gun is good against tight lines of zombies (also zappers because they can have like 300 hp) and is great for sniping in hougoumont especially, while blunderbuss is good for frontline fighters to clear wide, spread out groups

The nock gun has a a slow reload but the barrel selection reload is good if you want 1 2 5 or 7 loaded Plus 250x7/ 1750 Dmg is too good to pass (even though the reload's long) Blundy boys got 15x30 / 450 Dmg straight from 15 balls and yeah very quick and reliable than the nock

Both are good at crowd control blunderbuss is just better but for bigger hordes of strong zombies such as zappers the nock gun can easily take them out as one pellet can kill 11 zappers and on the plus side if all the 250 dmg dealing pellets hit the headless horseman can one shot it which is quite good but the buff was added when the headless horseman was removed
