Nah I think Vader got off easy, Vergil suffered in hell in hundreds or thousands of years, same goes for Doomslayer but in his case the demons were locked up with him while on the other hand Guts saw all of his crew die and his lover get r@p3d in front of him by many monsters.

Idk man hes still pretty tragic imo. I feel the thousands of years of torture is kind of a cop out. I guess that IS thousands of years, but even if he didnt go through the stuff Vergil, Guts and the Slayer did vader was just a normal guy, who thought he was meant for greatness, but it all fell around him. His mentors dead, best friend nearly killed him, wife dead. Im pretty sure he is canonically depressed AF after the fall of the jedi order. As i said, hes just so sorrowful, its hard not to pity him.

WARNING FOR READERS BIG SPOILERS: For those who are interested in the manga, I suggest you don't read this or it'll ruin the experience. Plus Vader doesn't have his son or maybe that's just"human form"Griffith, anyways the point is that Guts' lover gave birth to a fetus that haunts him every night(that's why he doesn't get sleep)until he met the witch and her apprentice. (Not trying to spoil to much) Also Guts'lover, Casca haves PTSD and is in a regressed mental state(A BIG SPOILER). At one point they obtained Casca's mental state back, well there was bound to be a happy reunion or so we thought that Casca can't even take a look or let Guts touch her without her screaming and having PTSD attacks. After that Casca gets kidnapped and Guts couldn't do anything, he swinged the Dragonslayer around but it did nothing to Griffith but cut a strand of hair while him watching again, Casca getting taken away. Why Vader got off easy? Well his son turned into an excellent Jedi and passed away peacefully and quietly(at least his physical form but I don't see him suffering), Ahsoka lived, Obi Wan became one with the force that's why he was smiling,etc.

One will turn you into a murderous demon, one will turn you into a zombie who is conscious of everything they do, one will force millennia of years of evolution on you, and one will make you have sex until you die.

Guts and Doom Slayer always do shit alone, together, both absolutely done with demons, I’d love to see them rip and tear together.
