Great band! So tight live. Saturnalia is one of the most darkly beautiful albums in recent memory (You aren't the only one smiling...we are)

Two of the coolest bands of the US alternative scene, two of my favourite singers come together. What's not to love? Some people are just too old to rock, not these guys.

I remember watching this live, but can't remember if I knew they'd be on in advance and watched because of them or just got lucky. I wasn't much of a regular Letterman viewer, think I just got lucky. This song is a freight train, miss ya Mark.

Now that he's older and a bit heavier, Dulli looks like John Belushi. Having said that, I agree with Riggs...we need another Gutter Twins album.

If you've ever read his book Sing Backwards and Weep, it definitely seems like something he would've been prone to in his younger days 😂😂😂

Imagine being a talk show host that gets to see legendary bands play and not being able to appreciate it.
@grungefan100911 ай бұрын
I'm pretty sure if any talk show host can appreciate incredible music, it's David Letterman. I agree most suck but this guy introduced and hosted and was a huge fan of many of the bands he shared a TV talk show stage with. Look into the Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters performances on the show. He was actually fond of Mark's work and had him on the show a few times. Friendly insight 😉

This song is really badly mixed - all the vocal frequencies are already swamped with the drones in the mid-range. I like the potential but it's not been realised at all
