I hv traveled thrice in Tawang. Hunger for traveling again to Tawang still remains in my heart. No problem in getting permit from Arunachal Pradesh House near Down Town Hospital on a very nominal charge. Totally safe and secure tour than existing Meghalaya situation. Visited almost all the hill stations of India but Tawang is the best. Madhuri (Shungtser)Lake and Bamulapass r of course dreamland.

তাওয়াং থেকে ফেরার পথে সেলা পাসে নেমেছিলেন কিনা সেটা ভিডিও আপলোড করার পর জানতে পারব , আমাদের ব্যাক্তিগত অভিজ্ঞতায় সেলা পাসের ঠান্ডা কনকনে দুর্দান্ত হাওয়ার দাপট এখনো অবধি একনম্বর। দ্বিতীয় স্থানে কুনজুম তারপর চাংলা। ভালুকপঙ থেকে তাওয়াং এর পথের সৌন্দর্য অসাধারণ, আপনার সাথে যেতে যেতে পুরোনো স্মৃতি ফিরে আসছিল। ধন্যবাদ ভাই আপনাকে।

If u want to take heavenly travel enjoyment then 1st come to Tejpur and stay one night there. Next morning you would get a shared jeep which takes approx 9 to 10 hours to reach Tawang. You can enjoy the scenic beauty of hills river and many unknown trees and plants along with multicoloured birds and will be witnessing herds of yak grazing at foot hills. You can see clouds and fog at Bomdila. You can stop near sela pass and watch martial monuments statue in the memory of Late Jaswant Singh who fought alone for 3 days against China's armies. You will cross altitude of nearly 14000 feet and then you will reach sela pass and lake. Its beauty can't be described and in fact out of imagination and feels like heavenly pleasures. i would request those who want to Arunachal state must stay one night Bomdila, one night at Dirang valley and at least two nights at Tawang excluding 1st night i. e traveling day.

Seen your full video. As I stayed in Tenga, just before of Bomdila for four years, I noticed the following :- firstly. You are ill fated because from Tejpur of Assam to Tawang your journey at night. Actually rd side scenery from Bhalukpong to Tawang is one of the most beautiful which you missed. Secondly. Rd from Bhalukpong to Tawang was very narrow, but present central Govt has developed this hill area road upto Tawang. One more road from Kharupetia of Assam to Tenga of Arunachal Pradesh is also a very very much beautiful and in short distance.

Sella tunnel is completed& the bus will go through this tunnel bypassing sella pass... This journey will become 15-16 hrs & traveller will miss beauty of sella pass in coming days...

It's true once the tunnel is completed journey time will reduce drastically which is very important from defence & communication point of view but i guess existing route through Sela will always be opened for tourists as it is one of the popular tourist spot in West Kameng district. Alternatively, Goverment may charge a fee to visit Sela like Rohtang pass.
