Not exactly. Guy’s skill is to be able to analyse & recreate skills he has seen. The only way Diablo can fight against Guy is when he’s connected to soul corridors and able to borrow Rimuru’s Turn Null/Nihility energy. Otherwise, he’ll always be second to Guy.

I've read the WN but it's been quite a while so I can't really remember everything, and as far as LN, I'm currently at vol 11 although I've been watching KZbin channels like these that give spoilers on future volumes. Rimuru's words aren't really that reliable. If it was Raphael/Ciel that said it, then it is believable but not when Rimuru is the one that says things. Don't forget, he didn't even realize how truly powerful Diablo is or Diablo being a primordial during the time Diablo was serving him. The same goes when Diablo introduced the other 3 primordials. There's also the time when he thought Adalman's team was going to lose against Shinji's team just because Shinji's team had acquired a holy weapon. Anyway, my point is Rimuru can make mistakes. Is there no further growth to Diablo and other subordinates of Rimuru after he absorbs Velda/Yuuki? I am just not updated if the LN was already completed. If Diablo could somehow further evolve his Ultimate Skill into Love Craftian series, he could be on Par to Guy. Guy now has Nodens ability which could create anything from nothing, if Diablo ever attained another ultimate skill evolution, he might get something like a counterpart to Guy's Creation/Materialization thing, like a fusion of Nihility Properties and ultimate skill Azazel, making existing things becomes illusion, nullify or be erased completely, a pinnacle evolution of Azazel which originally governs illusion and own dimension/domain where he could do everything same as Zegion's. By the time of Tenma War Arc, Diablo already directly inherits Rimuru's other OP abilities like Nihility, and as far as I know he had the illusion world that gives him infinite recycling of magicules essentially having infinite supply of magicules just like Milim's Satanael (combo of Itachi and Tsunades abilities) while also depletes his enemies magicules, plus an instant power up of ultimate battle form transformation. I think before Rimuru defeated and absorbed Velda/Yuuki, he is already on par with Milim and still not yet fully mastered his full potential and abilities like perfectly controlling the Nihility Collapse / Turn Null (Nothingness). If ever he have a chance to fight with Milim which can generate infinite magicules, he could fight her with infinite magicules too using the ability Azazel, he just has to master the control of Nihility properties (Most OP offensive and Defensive ability which the energy was being collected from the void dimension) as this gives his body some burden as for now. Moreover, this feats of Diablo were accomplished and attained in just a short amount of time in comparison to other Demon Lord like Guy who spends eons of his life time before his preceeding evolutions, yet even Guy hasn't mastered Satanael and using it only at 40% to be able to utilize his other Ultimate skills but can even maximize Satanael power at 90% with a compromise of not being able to utilize his other Ultimate skills. As a subordinate of Rimuru, Diablo is subjected for constant evolution, especially after Rimuru absorbs Yuuki/Velda and became a true god. I just don't know if Diablo's and other 12 Patrons' Ultimate Skills were secretly evolved into Love Craftian Series by Ciel or further increased their magicules. If so, all of his subordinates could be on par with Milim or atleast Dagruel level. Diablo is also fixated in his magicules limit as he wishes for it maintained even if he has a chance to further increase it (6,666,666), though this is irrelevant in the battle due to the fact that he can attain infinite magicule reserve as well through recycling and equipped with highest quality of magic of Turn Null. Turn Null could offset opponent's greater quantity of magic due to it's erasing/nullifying properties much like a void itself. Diablo also is capable of storing energy that had been absorbed from his previous battle into his pocket dimension for future battle use. Veldora and Velgrind could also hone their skills further or even increased their magicule reaching recently evolved Velzard's power and capabilities, standing on the same playing field, especially Veldora's ultimate skill King of Chaos Nyarlathotep turning into a god series God of Chaos Nyarlathotep just like how Chloe's abilitity undergone evolution from King/Lord into space/time God one. I am also hoping especially for Zegion, Benimaru, and Shion to also level up in same category as Guy or Milim. Most of the executives' evolution where being held back by Ciel fearing that they could have/attained the means to kill rimuru, but after the Tenma War Arc, I think it is a different story as Rimuru is essentially a God now and impossible to be killed. Obviously Zegion and Benimaru could somehow utilize Turn Null, imagine if Shion also gets how to utilize it too, she will then be the Goddess of Ultimate Destruction with God series abilities along with the demon girls trio. There are so much further story to explore, like the phantom race, insectoid race, cryptids race and the Dragon like Monster (I forgot the name) sealed in other dimension.

It's not hard to predict in the end of series, Guy is literally stronger and he is fucking great in fighting so even if Diablo use Rimuru's turn null, he needs a ton amount of energy so that it will work on Guy but lmao, Diablo is weak if compare to Guy so it's not surprising that he can't hande it and even if he can, I doubt it will work on someone smart as Guy. That is because Guy already acquired or evolved his ultimate ability to Nodens that makes him as strong as Yuuki/Velda during tenma war arc but Rimuru is still at least twice stronger than Guy since he already defeated and absorbed yuuki/velda but both can use infinite energy (Rimuru have access to Magic rebreeder and Turn Null infinite supply of energy, while guy can only have magic rebreeder). The story didn't tell yet if there was a further growth to rimuru's subordinates after he got upgraded again. Diablo has the possibility to get infinite supply of energy from Turn Null if he manage to perfectly control it thru another ability evolution, if that is so he surpasses Veldora (over 80 Million during Tenma War plus another possible magicule increase due rimuru's final ascenssion) now both by quantity and quality of magic using abilities and able to sparr with guy surely. Diablo is always one step closer to rimuru's power. Setting that aside, without the possibility of further evolving, he would obviously loose to Guy with Nodens ability. Diablo could only be on Par with Guy with Lucifer (prior recent evolution to Noden) or Milim with Satan. Diablo can also be treated as with infinite energy using his Azazel ability but base power-wise he got only over 6 Million (but can offset any greater quantity of power using the super OP Turn Null) while Guy (no magic rebreeder meaning he will get exhausted in the long fight but can raise his power up to 76 Million) and Milim (have magic rebreeder which grant her infinite energy meaning she will never be exhausted but raises her power up to 80 Million) have base power of 40 Million. But it is always stated in the LN that the most significant thing in battle is not the amount of energy but how an individual efficiently use it and the quality of ability and magic. Quality is superior than Quantity. Guy with Lucifer is said to be stronger than Milim only because Milim loses her Self Control during use of Satan, the only advantage of Guy is his other copied ultimates but don't be decieved Milim could easily offset them with Stardust as this is a form of Premordial Magic on the same category as Turn Null (the only thing that could defend against this magics are the absolute defense barrier of the Michael ability and Genesis Class Weapon), Guy will surely be put in a great disadvantage fighting opponent that can't be exhausted due to infinite magicule. Guy cannot copy Stardust and Turn Null with lucifer. Guy can later use Stardust if he reproduces Magic rebreeder only with Nodens. Magic rebreeder can also be reproduce thru Rimuru's and Yuuki's ability and maybe Velgaia too. Even with Nodens Guy cannot reproduce Turn Null as Yuuki cannot do as well during Tenma War Arc as their abilities are essentially the same. - Diablo's Azazel can seal away almost all if not all of Guy's Ultimates upon the activation, he couldn't be able to copy it as Diablo is the absolute authority in this realm. Only God Class weapon and Man-O- Mano fight could be done here. It's different with Milim vs Guy fight as he has higher chance to utilize most of his ultimate abilities against Milim. - Diablo's Azazel and Zegion's Mephisto stands at the top among all of the Demon Ability Series in terms of quality, effectivity and efficiency. Rimuru's version prior attaining Ciel will fail in comparison to the strength and quality of power of Zegion with Mephisto and Diablo with Azazel ability that's why rimuru felt a bit scared once he knew about their abilities but will surely win with those two with the version of Ciel awakened. Even Guy with Lucifer cannot compete with this version of rimuru.
