Guy is so genuine and likeable. He has a lot of insight into grief and loss and so glad he shared it.

He doesn't have any more "insight" into grief and loss than any other person. What he has done is make a lot of money with no talent or skills

An insightful, well-done interview. I’ve lost both parents, and recently lost my beloved brother, best friend and soulmate. There is no greater pain than the pain of losing a beloved sibling who emanated from the same Tribe as you. Deepest sympathy Guy, Jules, and the entire Fieri family.

My oldest sister got pancreatic cancer at 70. From the time she had symptoms to her death was 3 weeks. She always watched what she ate, she kept herself slim, never had any kids. She was healthy. It’s crazy. I’m sorry that Guy’s sister did everything right and still the cancer came back.

I have followed Guy ever since he started with food network. I have watched as Hunter and Ryder grew up and Lori’s cameos on Triple D. Guy often referenced his sister, and pointed out his tats honoring her. I am really glad I saw this video. Best regards to the whole Fieri clan.

We did that for my father. His last day of life? They moved him into the biggest most beautiful room in the hospital with the panoramic view. I spent hours on the phone calling everybody he knew or were related to. My cousin had food catered in. The kids played under the bed. Lifelong friends Came to Say Goodbye. They said that he would be gone by noon that day. Noon came and went. People were there into the night. My dad, as always, was the last to leave the party. He died at 1:00 a.m. the next morning.

Our 7 yr old son was diagnosed with cancer osteosarcoma 😩😭😭💔❤️‍🩹😩we also had a 6 yr old daughter so she watched her best friend suffer like guy watched his sister suffer 😩😭 i cannot describe the STRESS 😩😩 watching him get chemo after chemo then leg salvage surgery that did not work then leg amputation 😩😩💔💔 then more operations and doctors do make mistakes it’s bad enough watching all of the sick kids with. Cancer but for a surgeon to make a huge mistake we can not forgive 😭 I will never be the same person 😣 guy you are correct there is nothing worse then to bury your child 😩😭 our sons cancer kept coming back he died in my arms at home 😩😩😩 watching your child say love you 😍 and take his last breath is heartbreaking ❤️‍🩹 that we will never recover from but after his funeral I took a month off of work and we knew we had to get out of bed we had a 9 yr old daughter that needed us and I needed work it kept me SANE

I really enjoyed Anthony Bourdains work but I always thought he was quite classless punching down at Guy, taking cheap shots like some elitist snob. Lets face it, Guy isn't a Michelin Star French Restaurant chef but he's real, he knows and loves food. His show has done more for small business and the lives of those who own those businesses. Plus, he certainly seems like a decent man.
