I miss the old days when wrestlers would beat the 💩 out of a fan the second they decided to pull something like this.

if the fan doesn't hurt anyone, he doesn't need to be assaulted. If he makes a threatening gesture or attacks one, then by all means, the wrestler & security should beat the dog piss out of him. Jon Anderson, the lead singer of the band YES, was doing a concert in the late 70s, my dad was in attendance and that's how I know about this story if you wonder. After their first song, the crowd is just in a great mood and a fan RUNS up on stage and just gives Jon a BIG HUG. Jon saw security getting ready to beat the daylights out of him, Jon took it in stride and motioned to security to relax. He hugs the fan back, then says " Thank you for giving them such wonderful music" and calmly walks off stage but runs back for one last hug. Security CALMLY took the guy off the stage and walked him out. This guy was just a fan, Security grabbing him and escorting him out is the right thing as he didn't pose a threat to anyone but himself. Dean & Roman did the right thing allowing security to take him out and didn't need to attack him. Now, had that dude slapped the back of their heads or even their shoulders, even if it was "I got your back bros", I can understand Dean & Roman getting defense.

I remember back in the early 80’s I went to the wrestling matches at the fairgrounds in Alabama. Brad Armstrong got kicked in the leg from a fan. Brad Armstrong did not like that what so ever. He punched the guy in the face at least 10 times. The kid was so banged up, that he had to be rushed to the hospital.

WWE takes the safety of its performers and staff very seriously, and any fan entering the ring area will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
