Sorry , Once you've heard Dan Vasc's version, you're ruined for all others.😅

I disagree. I LOVE Dan, and I love his version, with all the power packed into it, that Dan truly believes and truly feels: "Christ is the LORD!" sung with all the power Dan can emote (and obviously, that's a LOT, with every single bit of it being absolutely and truly sincere). On the other hand, I also love many other versions, plus I've soloed it many times, myself, and have been a part of dozens of choirs who have sung it. I simply love the song -- no matter how it's interpreted by the singers. It's the song itself, with its lyrics of truth that make it what it is. As for Guy's version of it, I hear in his voice, the qualities of the life that he has not only lived, but is still living, and the beliefs that he firmly holds to. You can find a little bit about that life, online, if you search for it. Here's the sentence at the end of a short biography about him: "... Guy is a man of character on stage and off, living a life of faith, loving others and capping it off with a warm-hearted grin." Every time I see/hear him perform (no matter what song is involved), I feel that way about HOW he sings, and how he presents the depth of the songs he is carrying to others. Go, Guy! Go Dan! Go, anyone who celebrates the advent of the Lord with this song, or any other heartfelt song that will carry the Love of the Great I Am to the world around us. 😀
