Guy's definitely taken on board the Japanese etiquette briefing that he's been given. Just a little thing, but notice how he hands over his gift to Aoki-san at the end, presenting it with both hands - very respectful. Way to go, Guy!

Agree...except for his bow. Aoki-San bowed very low, head down, and held his position... while Guy initially went partially and abruptly...lower and longer is respect and honor... Fun race BTW-👍

3:04 Guy has clearly been briefed on Japanese customs on politeness. When handing over a gift, present it holding it with both hands and it should get accepted with two hands (like it does). This is typically also done in when handing over name cards.

The Fireball Brothers! In 1995 all three Aoki brothers had a dream weekend and earned spots on the Grand Prix podium at the world level during the Japanese GP at Suzuka. Takuma Aoki in 500GP (now called MotoGP), Nobuatsu in 250GP and Haruchika in 125GP. Had no idea that Haru was now racing bikes like this.

You know that "Japanese geezer" is a 2-time 125cc World Champion, right? He could destroy Guy Martin on a SBK even today. Haruchika was just born in the wrong era as he was given God-awful bikes for 250cc (non-factory Honda) and 500cc (TSR-Honda). I always said he was the fastest Aoki, even better than Suzuki factory rider Nobuatsu or HRC rider Takuma, but they never gave him a chance.

Bonnie's all around EU + the odd Suzi, F800Gs Adv in AU, but traveling the UK for a few years on my C90 with that bitching semi auto was a fond memories great crack other than the buggers in cars pulling out on you thinking you were doing 30 on a moped when you were doing 53mph.
