Guy is a boss so definitely check out more of his stuff. But two other artists you should react to, and I promise you won't be disappointed, is Australian Matt Corby "Brother live on like a Version", "Trick of the light live", "Chains cover live on like a version", "Miracle Love live at Manchester Cathedral". The other Aust/New Zealand Stan Walker "Ultra light beam live with the Levites", "New Light live with the Levites" and recent "I Am from the film Origin". The live version with the Levites awesome but also the music video is pretty epic to watch as well. Stan has many other videos, lots of which are live recordings and worth checking out. He's got one of those god given voices 😊

Guy has a huge catalogue. He was the inaugural winner of our first Australian Idol in 2003. He is a gifted singer and musician. 🇦🇺

Yeah Guy was someone i tried tobhate due to my issues with Australian Idol and its effect on up and comming live artists struggling for a contract. But he won me over becoming one of my fave voices ever.

I love seeing singers and vocal coaches reacting to Guy. So much texture and shade to every performance - not one note is unintentional. If you look at Guy's early days, he stayed in his upper register, a safe space for his acrobatic vocals. I absolutely love how he has developed his low register - so rich, menacing even. His transitions are seamless, his vocal runs bewilderingly complex. He's got it all.

Great reaction my friend. Yes this is Guy's 'fight' song. loosely based on one traumatic time when he discovered his then manager of 10 years or so had embezzled close to $1 million from him. Told if he took it to court he would 'ruin' him....but Guy did and won so manager was convicted ...Very hard on the whole family as he was thought of as part of their family. He has a really lovely voice, and if you like him, you are bound to like Stan Walker too, but neither of them comes anywhere near to knocking Ren Gill off my top artist/singer/musical genius spot. Is there some reason you are not covering any of Ren's songs? Perhaps his *Fred Again mashup or *Back on 74/Message in a Bottle, or something with Chinchilla like *Chalk outlines or *How to be Me. I am sure Chinchilla's voice would blow you away also. Her song *Fingers is very powerfully written and performed, and her recent*1:5 is never to be forgotten once heard.
