Your last vlog was awesome; on your way to and from the girls orphanage you and your husband took Cemetery Road. I am Guyanese and I lived on Savage Street just 2 blocks from Cemetery Road. Since I left in 1976 I have not been back, so I really enjoy your trips around Guyana and I get to show my husband my home country. We now live in Port St Lucie, FL after retiring from Minnesota. How do I differentiate between WCD and WBD?

So WCD is on the Coast of the River and that stops at the junction of Vreed-en-Hoop. When you turn from the junction going towards the Demerara Harbour Bridge, that is on the Bank of the River...hence West Bank of Demerara.
