I have been to Wakeanman in 97, take me about 20 minutes to walk around the island, if I had plenty money 💰 I would build a beautiful house 🏠 there, no concrete jungle, just live take in the nice fresh air, watching from Bellrose NY

Your narrative/commentaries are very appropriate and effective in letting the viewers know something about the video. I have probably only drove thru that area once in my life in the 70's and had no knowledge about the area. So it's educational for me, and nice of you to cover this area. The "koka" or "sluices" have stood up well over time. Oh speaking of burning mango trees to make roads, its actually clay that was "baked" or "burnt earth" was used to make roads in the old days, when labour was cheap. Similar to the process of making clay bricks or baking pottery. I believe burnt earth no longer used for roads.

I enjoyed this video as I can relate to the areas on the West Bank. Actually, one of my first cousins got married in Success on the East Coast and moved to Wales on the West bank a long time ago. I was amazed at the tranquility of the areas shown in your video and would like to live there one day. Thanks CR.

I was hesitant to even look at this video as I have seen so many before but I am happy I did. It was more than 29 years that I was at Canal # 2. I have seen some great improvement around the conservancy area. Overall your road trip was different and interesting because of your running commentary in the knowledge of the area, geography and history. It gave listening interest to the video which was fairly good too. Thank you for your time travelling these communities and sharing the bits and pieces of information which made the trip very interesting. Take care and God bless.

Great vlog - I enjoy the aerial view. Good Intent and sister village were owned by the same Dutch owner. He assigned the name Sister’s village after his four daughters and Good Intent to his sons.

I hope that I will be able to visit and see all the rural areas that you show us so that I can experience the reality that Guyanese people live in. It should be an interesting and enlightening experience. I appreciate all the info you share.

@@crlifethings We certainly did 😁. I left Guyana, in 1981 when life was difficult for all and I also had the good fortune to live in various parts of Guyana and saw the natural beauty if it. I've always missed Guyana and I'm so impressed of the continued development of it especially in the last few years. Your videos and these of other KZbinrs such as ARD has done such a wonderful job in bringing such immense awareness of the improvements and positivity and the buzz of good feelings in Guyana. I'm planning a trip with my family to Guyana very soon and I hope if it's possible we can meet up to say Hello and have some drinks ( cane juice, coconut water ) that is 😄.

It's a pity you did not show how the WestBank road ends. Looking at the video, I feel it ends in a sandpit. Do you think I am correct in assuming that. Also I would not have mind again if you had shown how the road ends in Canal No. 1 as you did for Canal No. 2.

In the beginning of the video you would have seen how CANAL NO. 1 ends, I also showed it again when I spoke of the Conservancy Dam. It was not as impressive as CANAL NO. 2 Road end. So, you can go back to the video and check it. Also it was shown in the Drone footage. Also, West Bank ends at Vive Le Force as mentioned in my video. Beyond that was a sandy road, no houses. Again you can go back and check my video. I didn't think you actually looked at the video!!

It seems both Canals 1 and 2 hardly have any street lights attached to the posts.
