Good of you to show the brotherhood of Guyanese people. That is a good friend .... Chinese has been in Guyana for as long as I can remember. You should ask him for some "Chinese Brush" .... it's what the Tradewinds sang about... "Chinese Blush make a hard hard wood" haha. That area has changed .... the dam beside the Lamaha Canal used to be occupied by squatters that we got fresh vegetables from. My father was a founding member of the MYO. Really good memories ... This was a special video for a variety of reasons. It showcases the diversity of our country. How food can cross the divide between cultures. The views of the Stabroek Market, the Parliament building, the High Court. This is what our country should be like, for now, and in perpetuity. We are all one. Back to the video...Suppose to have burst a few more peppers in my opinion. That gilbaka tree had those pods where the flowers emanate from; we use to play 'bruk neck' with the stamens. Good memories man.

What’s up with all the garbage on the streets? Doesn’t cost anything for people to clean up after themselves and put it in a trash can instead of discarding it on the streets. Kinda reminds me of some parts of NYC back in the days. However in Florida, it’s clean, people get fines for polluting. Maybe Guyanese government can try imposing fines to people who pollute.
