Guyanese Cheese Pie Recipe

Dough ingredients and preparation
Ingredients for dough
3 cups of flour
1 cup of cold butter
1 1/4 cup of cold water
Add butte and flour in a bowl. Mix the butter into the flour until it have a sand like consistency
Add water and knead to a firm dough, leave dough in the fridge for at least 1/2 an hour before using it
Cheese and egg filling ingredients
1 1/2 cups of grated cheese
5 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 black pepper
1/2 cup of grated carrot
1/2 cup of milk
Blended ingredients
2-3 stems of flat leaf parsley
1 small onion
1 green onion
1 mari wirrie pepper (optional)
Blend all ingredients with a texture
In a bowl add eggs, salt, black pepper, blended seasoning and milk
Use half of the dough, Roll out the dough and cut into the size of the muffin pan
Add dough into the muffin pan, add egg mixture, cheese and carrot.
Repeat the process until all the muffin cups are filled
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes
