My mother taught me to make sure yhe coconut juice is cooked for at least a 20minutes b4 adding rice and i am sure it could apply to this cook up rice and also never use a spoon in the rice pot,looks good though.

Thanks so much for your comment, you know everyone make cook-up rice a little different, but ultimately it come of the same way with different flavor and texture. I follow the ways I learn how to do this @ 13 years old, and as the years upon me I add a thing or two different. 😊

Hi when you use white rice how much cans of coconut milk you have to use

You are still going to use 1 1/2 to 2 can's , nothing less if you are using 1 lb. of rice.
