Later on, Venus admits that "-tron" is Latin, not Swahili. Actually, it's Greek, and it's just an ending for grammatically neuter words. "Proton" means "a first thing," because the proton was the first atomic particle to be isolated and discovered. It's also what scientists call the nucleus of an atom of pure hydrogen, which is basically the same thing. "Neutron" means "a neutral thing" due to the fact that this particle has no charge. Further, "electron" means "an electric thing" or "metallic amber," a blend of gold and silver that gives off static electricity when rubbed with a cloth. Also, a bunch of pure protonic hydrogen is called "protium," a bunch of hydrogen that has single neutrons in each of its atoms' nuclei is called "deuterium" (2 nucleons in each nucleus) and the nuclei are called "deuterons," or "second things," and a bunch of hydrogen that has two neutrons in each of the atoms' nuclei is called "tritium," (3 nucleons in each nucleus) and it's nuclei are called "tritons" or " third things." "Nucleus" is Latin and originally referred to the pit of a fleshy fruit or a nut, but just as Venus says, now just means the center of the atom.

I believe it exists everywhere but this scene reminds me how I grewup (not gang affiliated but the "Urban" environment itself) and I'm certain many, many,..that dropout, turn to crime, BECOME Bullies, follow Bullies,..is to mask their inability to learn. I wasn't the smartest but I scored high, could keep up in advanced courses but early in my elementary days I could see those friends/classmates,..not keeping up. Efforts made to help but there comes a point where they feel lost/belittled/dumb,..and it puts them on that bad path. Way to break it down Venus!!!
