With what Fauzi mentioned at 13:06, whilst that statistic is true, it is important to see this in perspective. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer amongst males aged 20-40, but that is prceisely because cancer (of any site) is generally so rare at that age group. Across all ages, testicular cancer accounts for 1-2% of cancers in men. Like what the consultant advised, self-examination should definitely be done. But most men that age do not need to constantly fear for it developing, unless there are predisposing factors e.g. family history. On the other hand, prostate cancer incidence increases with age. I was a bit surprised that both 'millennials' were offered the prostate exam for asymptomatic screening, but I guess there is no harm done anyway apart from some discomfort. As for PSA (blood test), it is only useful if interpreted appropriately, as there are certain factors that cause false positives. This is to prevent unnecessary anxiety or further, invasive investigations.
