This song really touched my heart. My favorite line is "you gave me the best of me so you'll give you the best of you". I was expecting them to say "I'll give you the best of you" but noooo... It's like they're saying, you were able to believe in us, bring the best out of us. You recognized us, our potential, and support us with your whole heart. If you are able to do all of that for us, you have the power to do that for yourself too. You just have to believe it. Such a beautiful fan song. I love them so much :")

This song was made for the fans. There's obviously different interpretations of it but the base line message is that they made music for us if we're having a hard time so that we have something that we can relate to and hopefully distract us momentarily from whatever it that's causing us pain

David is kind of a spot on in his interpretation but just to connect it to the magic shop that confuses kevin, they were saying that bts are the magic shop and their music is what they gave to the fans in exchange to the hardship fans are experiencing. To let them forget the problems even just for a while.

He has produced another song before for their HYYH pt1 album "Love is not over" and he has been writing lyrics for other BTS songs as well. He has also taken part in composing the chorus of almost every song of BTS and has been credited for it.

This song always confuses me as well.. Like it's an EDM influenced song with somewhat upbeat drop but then why does it sound so soft, heart touching and just really makes me wanna cry..?? And it's really weird for me but every single time I hear this song, I feel like it's the first time I am hearing it and the emotions I feel while listening it never goes away.... jungkook produced this for the fans. theyre basically trying to tell us hey. you may be having a hard time but listen. it'll be okay. in a way the magic shop is supposed to be a place of comfort for us and theyre trying to show us that we all have something like that in us. and we all have our own beautiful galaxy. Magic Shop in my opinion is the happiness that they can give us. A safe space to get away from our bad thoughts. In a sense they are my Magic Shop. Their music helps focus on the good things for a while. It offers comfort and stability. Their lyrics are almost therapeutic.

This song is a fan song inspired by the book ‘Into the magic shop’ by James R. Doty. It actually relate to the message that appeared in Fake Love trailer1 ‘magic shop is a psychodramatic technique that exchanges fear for a positive attitude’. In this case, BTS is trying to say that they want to make ARMYs proud of them, they want to be our source of happiness and comfort, so whenever there’s a hard time just listen to this song and they’ll be with us, they’ll be our “magic shop”

For me, the reason why it's connected to a magic shop is because we are each others happiness, BTS is there when we are suffering, in exchange of our negative feelings they offer us music which touch our souls and basically helps us live through life, and they tell us it's ok and not to give up, that's why the lyrics 'you give me the best of me so you'll give you the best of you' hit a spot in my heart, I realized that I am special because they are saying that because of us, the fans, they were able to be the best of themselves so we should also not downgrade ourselves because we can be the best of ourselves too, they are our magic shop as we are theirs, it's such a beautiful song

It's a fan song. This song means that if army having a hard time, find them. And let them reduce our worries by their music. To me, magic shop is them. They took away some of my worries and give me happiness that i need. Because when I'm watching them, i get this energy that heals me. Jungkook said this song inspired by what rm has said in their concert. Basically he said "if our music can help you, if your worries is 100%, and our music can reduce it to 99%, 98%, or 97%, then that's when our existence worth. That's what we're exist for" so, yeah. They just want to comfort us. I hope some of their song can comfort u as much as it does to me. Because bts is different.

Well u both are right, in my opinion I think bts is telling us that if we are ever feeling down then bts will open a door in our head which is basically magic shop. I think they are saying that by going into the magic shop and exchanging ur depression and sorrows and stuff, bts will console u or smth? Idk but that's what I thought.and v was basically saying "believe it or not we actually went though the same thing u guys are going through and u guys helped us through that". The song is sorta of like an exchang itself don't u think? "I'll show u, so show me" and "I'll give u the best of u so u give me the best of u" I think those phrases sort of give thus idea of exchange. And when bts helps u to relax and enjoy life u "watch the galaxy while drinking tea". At least that's what i think.
