Had the Brash Taunter(tapped) out and had Gideon's Sacrifice in hand. Fiendish Duo was on my board and my opponent swung at me with everything he could. For one mana, in this deck, I think Gideon's Sacrifice is worth keeping.

Phyrexian Vindicator would be a good include on this one because it will redirect the damage as well. If you put an enchantment like Pariah on Brash Taunter or Phyrexian Vindicator is enough cause for your opponents to attack the other way. The way I’ve started building it is extremely pillow forty with cheap spells that keep me from being damaged by creatures and having my creatures (that I don’t want damaged) to not take damage. Also, to go with Baeloth; Gloin, Dwarf Emissary synergizes well because he says sac a treasure and goad target creature.

The four white mana is ehhhh. Might take til turn 7 to play it. Turn 4 you're playing your commander and it's wild if you got 4 white mana on turn 5. I put one in my deck and took it right back out.

Really enjoyed this breakdown, I hadn't even thought to cut the Phoenix, you had an interesting point about 7 mana drops that hadn't really occurred to me. I especially love your removal suite. My key thoughts: - I play a lot of decks with goad, and as you have stated the big issue with it is 1v1. I have used Deflecting Palm in my goad deck, and it's often a huge play versus he final opponent. - Too many people are adding goad to this deck, it's inherently part of the commander and there's already too much in the deck as it is. - Why is nobody adding Slicer? He's a guaranteed trigger every turn from your commander, and is even better with menace!

Delney is already over $20, so that’s a huge chunk of the budget. And OUFF, Roaming Throne is $22-26. Both are obvious bangers for this deck. I’m really happy we get a different Boros deck, as a Boros player, I’m likely to buy many of these cards just because Boros. Thanks for the upgrade advice! I plan on buying this from my LGS asap

I pulled a foil/invisible ink special edition art version of Delney in a collector booster box. That’s going for around 40 rn, and I pulled a regular special edition art/foil version of her too lol. I got lucky.
