It depends on your budget and how dedicated you are. If you don't want to spend much, how basic/intermediate grade models serve the need. Each brand also has different character, it depends on your taste.

Out of curiousity, was the musician in this video trained on the gayageum? The hand flourishes look more like gayageum players I've seen than guzheng players.

How do you compare the sound of Zhuque model 010B, 09B, and 980? Which one is more robust/has more "bass"?

010B definitely has more bass. 980 ranks second. 09B has the least bass.
