On hardcore you can do anything but revive if you die. There's different modes you can go into with add-ons to make it more challenging. For example SF=self found cannot use AH, mail, or trade but can group for dungeons etc. SSF means ur completely solo.

I feel like a good punishment for you is that you have to use a weapon chain as your enchantment until lvl 60. Even better if you get enchanting as a profession.
