the pontus death was actually a much worse pull then it looks they had JUST killed the large pack round the corner, and before anyone could mana up totems pulled both the boss and 2 patrols they went into the fight with 3 people oom

Grubby had two mana stones and evocation. No one focused the showmage. No one poly'd . Zero coordination. No running to the reset/safe spot. They all joked how easy it was... untll it wasnt.

@@windmacher grubby used evocation and you cant use both mana stones, only 1 every 2 minutes but that still leaves 2 people (including the healer) oom yes he could have polyd but being a new player he didnt think of it, and no one else thought to call it after they got out they do talk about how there were misscalls and grubby could have polyd something most people dont know about the reset spot there dude, just cos your a 17,000 hour player doesnt mean everyone is

Those Elemental Slaves are where I really learned every enemy has individual aggro range and it's not just based on level. Some enemies 2-3 levels under will pull from 20 yards away, and some mobs +1 level really don't care if you get fairly close to them. You gotta pay attention to some names too, most "Sentry" enemies have extra range and many of them have stealth vision.

@@silvioantonio6952 It is BIS but requires good gear otherwise you have to have a shield and do a lot of switching to mitigate as much dmg as possible. While looking for moments to switch to dual wield to get that extra threat. The rage gain compared to dmg intake is not in your favor in dual wield. Ofcourse this mainly applies for around 50+ but at lower levels in stressfull situations any tank worth their salt will have a shield and use it when shit gets hairy.
