Tutorial on adjusting watch settings.

Welcome
This video will cover adjusting and setting the Casio GW-A1100. Including Day Light Saving Time.
During this video we will refer to the buttons of the watch as
Top Right- A
Bottom Right - B
Bottom Left - C
And the Crown
This watch has 5 modes. You can cycle through the modes by using the C Button. The bottom dial will change to indicate the mode you are in.
The modes are
World Time
Stopwatch
Timer
Alarm
And Timekeeping. “This is the default mode for the watch”
To make adjustments to your watch you must start in timekeeping.
To determine if you are in Timekeeping the watch’s bottom dial hand will point to the day of the week .
To start adjustment of the watch rotate you crown counter clockwise so that the white line points to the red dot.
Pull out the crown
The second hand will point to the city codes around the edge of the watch. This determines your timezone. Rotate the crown left or right to select your city code
While in this mode press and hold A to select your DST setting. Releasing then pressing and holding again will select the next DST setting.
Hold C to advance to the next setting. The second hand will point to 12.
This is your adjustment for hour and minute. Spinning the crown towards you will rotate the time backwards. Rotating away from you will have the time go forward. If you can continue to spin in one direction the hands will begin to move quickly. To stop this rotate in the opposite directing.
Press C
This will allow you to only adjust the hour. As before rotate the crown in either direction to adjust the hour.
Press C
This will adjust the day. Rotate the crown in either direction to adjust the day in the window.
Press C
This will adjust your month. The second hand will point to the hour indicating the month. The 12 hours indicate the 12 months of the year. January, February, March, April, Etc. Rote the crown in either direction to select the month. Please reference page e-45 for more information.
Press C
This will adjust your year. The hour hand will point to the area that indicate the tens digit for example. 2000’s 2010’s 2020’s etc. The Minute hand will point to the Ones digit. For example 1, 2, 3, etc. Because we have the hour hand pointing to the 2010’s and the minute hand pointing to 5 our year is 2015. Please reference your manual for more information on page E-46.
Press in the crown to finalize the settings.
Make sure to lock the crown placing the white line over the red dot. Push in and rotate so that the white lines match. Your crown is now locked.
You have successfully set your watch.
