GW13 TEAM SELECTION | Haaland Out | FPL Gameweek 13 | Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

Based on FPL Therapy's wisdom (from ex-FPL winner Simon), my take is that there have been cognitive bias amongst FPL content providers' WC6 to ditch Salah to get Palmer and double Arsenal defence. Arsenal defence flopped against SOU/LEI and Salah returned double-digits for weeks; these FPL utubers kinda learnt from their mistakes, and fixed their squad by selling Haaland to bring back Salah and punt on Cunha with great success. That said, my hunch is this rush to sell Haaland is just another cognitive bias based on the "law of small samples", with Pedro & Rogers so cheap, there is enough room to fit Haaland/Salah/Palmer trio all under same team, Haaland is still the best forward and when he 'revert to the mean' to start scoring goals again, these utubers will eat their humble pie. So it's keeping Haaland for me, also to restore justice and fun for the FPL game (less fun when everyone has the same non-Haaland template team in the mini-league)

You need a ton of points just to make up for the points he's not got. But five or six hatricks in a row sure you'll be fine.

Go for option 2 Salah + Saka + Pedro feels like massive upside over Haaland + Bruno + Dibling and it gives you a viable 8th attacker. One thing to consider might be to go for Saka GW13 and get Salah GW14 since the bookie odds seem to favour Saka away to West Ham this week.

We're on the same page. I went early to avoid price changes: Haaland ->Pedro, Jimenez->Cunha (Already owned Salah and Palmer.

Nice video! I think option 2 simply for the flexibility. Always nice to have options. Like that you're thinking Mbeumo like me. I've got Saka to be VC as well. It's tough to call. Palmer is a great shout but Villa were good last night. Hopefully get some players back cause they have injuries. That could help as well. 😊

Hi Gianni, great chain of thoughts! Similar pain points and wonders that I have :) If no new injuries occurs by tomorrow, I won't do any transfers this week but for GW 14 I plan to remove Garnacho and Mbuemo for 1) Saka and Rogers or 2)Mitoma/Bowen/Kudus and Odegaard. Which route would you prefer?

Here is the answer to all of your questions: Look at Haaland (and City’s) performance and stats with Rodri and without. Haaland has been a £9m player since then. I dropped Haaland 2 weeks after Rodri went out and I never looked back.
