Hey, as I finished editing this the new patch went live and with it 1 new relic caught my attention. The relic is : Relic of the midnight king It gives "might" and "fury" when you disable a foe. I haven't had time to test it out. But I'm confident it can be used instead of the "mercy" or "monk" relic (if you're ok with your heal/rez ability) and therefore would allow to remove "dessicate" for another utility skill. PS: thanks to my wife for giving her character's life so I can have footage of rez/heal.

Thx for the build ❤ Also wanted to tell you that HSC is the only healer that suffers less from not taking monk relic Barrier is only depending on healing power & not healing eff. And what healing sources he has are sufficient for healing up the group while barrier protects them! Truth be told in my eyes the relic should be switched out depending on the encounter… Mercy if you know you have to rez a lot - either if your team is really new and inexperienced or the encounter demands it (boneskinner or Xunlai CM) Or Lyr if you want to shield your allies even better. I find Lyr my favourite right now Midnight king could be good but CmC has implemented might and fury generation into so many dps builds now that i see myself not using desiccate that often…essentially leaving might and fury to the rest of the team. As HSC is alac many groups bring now pquickherald which is the perfect addition and leaves you up to so many freedoms because it gives those other boons. I always look at the build composition and adapt to it - that of course requires knowledge over the builds that are currently present but tbh as a healer in my eyes you need to have more knowledge Over the encounters…especially as HSC because you can optimise your barriers when the dmg procs…over the builds so you can adapt your playstyle Healer/defensive supports are supposed to be flexible and you need to adapt for the best outcome of the group 😊 I will definitely give the midnight king a try! Makes everything easier if I need to provide might and fury! Just hope they give scourge/necro better stability access…the current implementation is horrible ^^

Also another remark if I may - as secondary weapon its good to take torch because it provides might and cc Because desiccate is often not enough to give 25 might stacks and torch helps massively with that

@@Cross_111 After such a huge com I need to react accordingly :) 1) thanks for the kind words 2) for the relics I mostly play "mercy" because I pug a lot and I don't trust pug positioning. I barely use "monk" I don't like it and it doesn't affect barrier as you already overcap it. Same for food I usually don't use heal food but rather Pdps food. I never gave Lyhr a proper chance. I might look at it. 3) indeed the flexibility of hsc is amazing in my opinion which is why I play it a lot since SotO (was a bit lacking when it was just a rez bot) 4) for stability... that's HSC biggest weakness. But if it get access to easy stab it might become too OP. A good management of "serpent siphon" is enough in most encounters. Though it is clearly lacking in fractals. 5) for secondary set everything works well depending on the situation. I like staff in open world, scepter/axe can be a good range option too and so on. That's why I said you don't need any but free to use what's useful.

@@itsmexadine thx for the response 😊 I find Lyr to complement Scourge perfectly - you constantly cleanse conditions and Lyr transfers only strike dmg It essentially makes your barrier even less taxed It may be necessary to change your gear to be a bit more tanky like minstrel or giver and requires you to 3+2 on dagger constantly (maybe also change traitline soul reaping on master to 2 for 20% more healing to yourself) but if you do you are really unkillable and can carry noobs even better. Mercy has only its uses when people go down and its preferable to not let them get downed in the first place ^^ And if they do? You are still the OP rez machine we all love 🤣 Although i agree that good stability makes the build maybe OP its the only thing lacking and especially in raids or fractals i find the lack of it very annoying and makes me play other healers in that content... One short stack of stab on well of power is not enough for most encounters and the stability on trail of anguish is horrible. I would still like them to give the scourge better stability because giving stability is kind of a healer thing and actually not many people know when to proc it/when its necessary if they are used to healers that know their job ^^ To rely on others for that is difficult if other healers can do it regularly so people are not used to it and makes me preferring HFB or Heal Herald most of the time 🙈 Trail of anguish should just "fart" out stability in an area of 360 (maybe even 600 like guardian??) instantly and HSC would really be my favourite pick as healer!

Wish this video had talking instead of reading but thanks for showing that hectic run. big take away is i don't always need to spam buttons as the HSC. Always felt like i needed to use so many skills as soon as off cooldown per crows which one made it hard to upkeep and watch mechanics of boss and two when i needed the heal it was on cool down since it provides other boons. Thanks for sharing. Ill try this next run.

Can i use staff as main hand weapon?
@itsmexadine
@itsmexadine 9 ай бұрын
Yes you can. The only issue with staff as the main weapon is you will likely lack "life force" in boss fights. You can bypass that issue by using "signet of undeath". Aside from boss fights you shouldn't have any issue generating "life force". Dagger/warhorn is a pretty strong way to generate life force hence the choice as main weapons. PS: haven't tried swords with this build yet.

@@itsmexadineI see. What's your thoughts on wearing cleric stats?

@@Cashcash08 Harrier = power (max) / heal (medium) / concentraton (min) Cleric = heal (max) / power (medium) / toughness (min) When it comes to "heal" you usually don't need to ba above 1200 for safety (900 is already viable). With full "harrier" you'll be around 1400 and already will overcap the "barrier" so you don't need the extra "heal" you'll get with "cleric". In a raid/strike party you want to deal as much damage as possible and the extra "power" is a nice touch. Now the main difference is obviously "concentration" Vs "toughness". In 95% of the boss fights "toughness" will make close to no effect (barely any mitigation) and for the remaining 5% it will likely make you the de facto tank. "Concentration" gives you more "boon uptime" wich will make your "alacrity" / "25might" / "fury" easy to keep at all time. Without "concentration" you will find yourself not capable of keeping those boons 100% of the time. For these reason you don't want to play "cleric" but play "harrier" in raid/strike situation. For open world PvE you shouldn't have any issue playing "cleric". If you want to have a "healing gear" tankier than "harrier" (Hsc is already pretty tanky with all barriers) and are not bothered to tank I suggest "minstrel". It is underperforming but for "toughness-based aggro boss" it does the job just fine. If you're a new player and "harrier" is hard to come by you might wanna try "celestial". It's not as good but work just fine in most party. So yeah... I'm not a fan of cleric. The lack of "concentration" is my biggest issue with it. The extra "toughness" doesn't help either.
