Shroud rotation is different here. When you Enter Shroud, let the game autocast Skill 1 once, then do the normal 2 → 4 → 3 autos → 2 → Exit Shroud
Why? Without that extra auto, alacrity uptime is quite thin. So why an auto at the start rather than end?
When you Enter Shroud the server needs to swap to new skills, and if you don't quickly input Shroud 2, you'll waste time doing nothing. This gets worse with higher ping. This shroud adjustment lets the game take the wheel long enough to cast the skill (0.64 second), then the player provides input.
Alacrity Specter can't use Quick Pockets in the opener because we need to get into Shroud immediately to start providing Alacrity. It also lacks the Torment damage modifier from Strength of Shadows grandmaster, and Twilight Combo was nerfed with the release of Secrets of the Obscure. Combine all these factors and a Bleed-focused Deadly Ambush build with Dagger-Dagger can pull ahead in damage, rewarding its melee-range animation locking with a noticeable damage boost.
Siphon is now used before entering Shroud. This wastes the Kleptomaniac proc, but it allows us to instantly ramp 10 stacks of Might for our subgroup. The damage loss is minimal, especially now that Siphon applies a lot of Bleed thanks to Deadly Ambush.
If you're in a mobile fight where the boss won't stay put in your AOEs, you can swap Caltrops to Devourer Venom/Skale Venom. For even more mobile fights, consider playing the old Scepter rotation with Quick Pockets and Torment food.

And I probably said "eh fake news" XD I have a big blind spot for Caltrops and didn't see how the changes to Specter over the last year made this Bleed emphasis stronger than sticking blindly with the Scepter.

@@Iskarel_GW2 I think you did not answer on it, comment is 7months ago. But several others did and denied it xD I tested it on some encounters back then and came to the conclusion, that it is one many encounters on par, on some better and on some much worse. Maybe not flexible enough to warrant an extra build so I dropped the matter. But I really like you picking it up, pog video btw.

Really cool, i allways like playing dagger way more. Im just afraid of loosing shroud in real fights now, cause regaining it will be way harder now, no? Any ideas how to use it on any Boss with high presure like Boneskinner?

Yes gaining Shadow Force is slower without Larcenous Torment. For real fights take Amplified Siphoning master trait. For very high pressure fights you probably want Scepter with Skale Venom and Larcenous Torment.

I know you are using ritualist for Alac, but how much damage increase is it if you use the non alac trait + viper gear?
