@@homage3 man, imma be honest, idk how I'll go back to rev after playing this. On demand dmg, mobility and chase potential, the leech with Zakiros is unreal and the animations are awesome. Condis are also a joke, I convert those into boons and clap even harder lol. Save the Rev dream Homage!

If you use Wurm relic, you only lose 1k HP but gain some FER stats so you hit harder. Assuming you're using the vitality trait in the WB line which only requires a small DMG drop from your virtues, allow you to hold 15k, 236% fer (Just shy of your max) as well. I've also grown fond of Sigil of Courage paired with Sigil of Enchancement on the weapons, if you're hitting several people, you can easily stack 25 Might on yahself in fights while also sharing some with allies as well through those virtues and traits. Thus again, making you hit harder, which in turn pushes more healing thru Zeikros. WB is easy to play, but don't get it twisted. It requires some knowledge about positioning and moving the hell out of DMG n stuff since you do your best, most potent dmg when you're right in people's face, or in the middle of a big group of peeps. Also, more people should use Feel my Wrath, its fucking BRUTAL on WB. RF is a great defensive for sure and I get why its loved, but feel my wrath makes you a DEADLY threat in a fight. To the point teams almost HAVE to focus you or you will just shred through everyone unless they have a good healer or something around. WB is also a NOOB STOMPER and a half. Noob will fall like flies to you, they don't know how to move yet. lol I dont agree with giving up the 10% Strike DMG on virtues for the cleanse, but I get why people take it. But, it is a dmg loss for sure since you use your virtues fairly regularly on WB, personally, I play without the lil bit of cleanse since our main heal skill we use for most WB builds does auto cleanse low threat condis pretty well. Just dont get hit by condi bombs, or run Cont of Purity for the few times you get hit by large stacks of conditions that your heal won't cleanse in time. I also prefer to use WB mid 2 instead of 3 for easier fury generation paired with the fury extension from hitting 3 stacked burning foes will basicly just keep fury on you constantly, however, if done right, you certainly can use the resolution trait, but your virtues ALREADY give you resolution when you use them and its basicly 100% uptime on your resolution, I dunno why you would need more fr. Unless you want to use Brawler over Zeikros, which is viable, just requires more game knowledge and positioning knowledge so you dont get slapped into the dirt super easy without your healing. I've been playing WB in G3/P1 for a lil bit myself. Easily my favorite class now. Its liek you said, its just so fluid, and fun, WB is easily the best FEELING class and spec int he game for me, it just fit my playstyle so damn well in almost everyway as well so that helped. WB stronk boiz. If you haven't tried it, try it. Be the blue thief. WB also has a TON of build diversity within the spec. You can run Condi, Ranged, Melee, Mixed, hybrid, tanky, squishy whatever and honestly, they all work fairly well. (Condi can be a lil struggle, lacks cover condi like all Guard condi builds.) GS, Hammer, Swords, Pistols and many more all work well with WB, I've even seen a few run Bowbender and make it work. WB is just great. :)

Hi there, u made some good points but I just want to mention why people take willbender mid 3 is not for maintaining the resolution but for gaining acces to resistance which is crucial for your dps because there is a lot of weakness in pvp and weakness is a huge counter to willbender burst damage. I think this might help u even getting higher elo 😊

A lot of legendary weapons have "footfall" effects. The legendaries I used are Sunrise, Bolt, and the Shining Blade. Best of luck with PVP I hope you enjoy this build!

Tried this and replaced the dual sword by a spear just to try it out. Worked well. Spear had a surprising burst with 5, 4 skills which are very easy to hit due to the AoE. Plus a nice area heal for team fights. At some points, Feel my Wrath would come back up with my spears on cooldown and I used it to secure kills with auto attacks. It was fun.

The nice thing was coming out of Greatsword after blowing the cooldowns and go to spear for the easy hits + stun plus heals and the 350 range on the auto attack works surprisingly well.

@@homage3 this build feels somehow really good in 1vs 1, you can somehow outsustain classes where u usually cannot win against. Besides that this build is a lot of fun because of the elite with quickness. If you really want to teamfight I still think that the normal build with RF is "better", since you need this panic button for the moment they focus you

@@homage3 they made me rage on my necro so i played a couple games with it, similar build as yours, also tried the palm elite for insta stomps and another shadowstep/knockdown. It’s very good and even inexperienced players can get a lot of kills on it. It is quite fragile though and folds to condi quite quickly imo. Oh and I hate Scrappers.

I've been playing power reaper vs them with good success. I tend to pick the AOE well skills so that when they jump on me, I can force them to take damage if they want to stick. The blinding well is excellent protection, and sometimes I take the Demolisher amulet + Rune of the reaper for additional toughness. When I'm feeling particularly risky, I take zerk amulet and just try to interrupt with fears and aoe burst

@@100plusRG it has plenty of condi clear in purity and then in your f2. The key is to not spam it. You have incredible amount of sustain and damage. WB is a great class for people who aren't great at pvp but want to compete still and in the hands of someone good? It wrecks.

If u like that one, u should try with Warrior relic and rune, berz amulet, « power for power » and « phœnix protocol » talent.. cele&alacrity+quicker weapon swap gives a nice and smooth vibe to it.. less rusty. (Takes a bit to get use to tho)

Try Marauder amulet with Scrapper rune! Fits this build better and I’ve found it to be very strong

I think with valk amulet is a bit better. 40% from reso + 20% fury + 15-16% infiltrator or ranger is plenty crit

@@matthewmcguigan4293 In pvp your gear actually doesn't matter. You select your stats in the PVP equipment menu and you're off to the races. No need to get new gear. The zakiros relic should be free to equip in that menu as well

@@homage3 I did it in the center of the well, a bit further down, but I was hugging the wall trying to port up, so almost exactly where you did. I also read up on the shadow step wiki page and it says “Shadowstepping usually allows the player to move horizontally as long the position can be reached normally by moving on the ground without jumping. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon to be completely unable to use a ground targeted shadowstep skill in certain types of terrain, notably on/around many walls in WvW. Shadowstep skills will not activate if a valid path to the target point cannot be found, except when it acts as a stun breaker” So based on that I wouldn’t think that shadowstepping up walls would be possible. But there’s no changes to the skill in the version history on the wiki page. So I’m thoroughly confused. I might have to just make a custom arena and try it out for myself. If I do and make a video I’ll share it with you :)

F is FPS. P is my ping. R is server lag / packet loss. It comes from Arc DPS. Which is a third party DPS meter plugin.

@@justinholtgrave Guardian has an increased crit chance from the trait line 'Radiance'. This build also takes multiple ways to give yourself the boon 'Fury' which increases crit chance further. And yes this build is using berzerker gear, which in PVP is just your amulet.

Lol, willbender op build showcase number 542 😂 Play it without the instant 1200 port + burning skill and the spike potential is gone. In wvw they play it with the renewal focus elite skill and the all boons shout skill. It's one of the 3 big unbalanced build anet hadn't fixed in the last months. No talent needed.
