Nothing like roaming around ebg satisfying some guilty pleasures on your thief when a chrono wants to duel, you think eh ok should be fine, then get absolutely dumped on. You block them only to find out it was Berry -_-. Couple good duels last night, seems like rifle has some promise, we'll see where it ends up when it goes live! Great vid as always!

Hello,Berry! Could you talk a little about Mesmer's most difficult match ups? Particularly speaking... against Willbender, it's simply a SPEC that I can't do absolutely anything about. Lots of damage, lots of mobility, support, evasion. I believe this class itself is very unbalanced.

For sure man I’m definitely looking to try and teach ppl some more but making dedicated videos about a single match up seems to get outdated fairly quick, was thinking maybe trying to commentate over some duels and explain thought processes, thing to look out for, ect

how do you feel about the changes to inspiration? now that we cant take BLRD inscriptions with Restorative Illusions do you think power mes will struggle more?

Eh I’ll just use chronophantasma and a cleansing sigil it just sucks to have 3 useless traits in the middle

I feel like they could probably allow for about a .3 power scaking increase on auto and a slight damage tweak on phantasm with the weapon having no innate movement. Just to give a little more oomph to the kit, the heals dont really amp up enough to justify the damage numbers imo

Definitely feel like it tries to do to many things, tries to be a mobility, boon support, heal support, weapon with skills that feel more like what chrono wells should of been and a random hard cc phantasm instead of something supporty

The rifle really lacks in everything imo. You can’t really use it as a dps weapon and it feels awkward supporting with it.

Just replied to someone else too, yea I think it tries to do to many different things and 2 and 3 are what chrono wells should of been tbh and the phantasm doesn’t really match

Imho it's still a good weapon for support. It got on demand healing and aoe chaos aura for boons but skill 4 and 5 really bothers me since both are in a weird place for a mesmer support weapon. I wish they add more utility in both if those skills
