I've been enjoying the fear on elite relic instead of rivers relic, as it can both peel for yourself with instant cast elites, as help set up your burst. Rivers seems good too tho.

@@EzzaLeo You can take a full condi amulet like rabid or you can stick on tyrant. I stayed on tyrant but I'm not 100% sure that's the best. You should try both and see what you prefer

Great video, i didn't know how useful the spear is in pvp but it looks like you can have fun with it :) I have not finished the video yet but i think you forgot to mention, that the auto is both melee and range in the spear skills intoruction?

@@AATproducer Yep its turning out to be a great PVP weapon! I did mention that briefly but the melee doesn't do anything different so I didn't talk too much about it

@@vlc4799 Definitely. The mace shield combo has more damage and less survival than the staff. Could definitely put it on for more damage

@@homage3 you could say less survival, but the weakness condi also reduces enemy damage. More pressure on enemy while having some defense options in weapon set same time makes it harder for them. I personally would go with mace/shield + spear on herald with that shield cleanse trait

They're one of the very early heavy pants skins dyed with shadow abyss. I think it's literally just the "chain" pants skin

@@TheJukizzle Just because you're not a pro gamer doesn't mean your opinion isn't valid :) Shiro is definitely more fun, great for roaming and large maps. But... Mallyx is nice in team fights and small maps. Hmmm which to pick

i haven't seen many spear revs in wvw yet (just the odd roamer running spear/staff). Wonder how it will fair in the balance patch. I'm scared for my warrior

@@StagWithLag I feel like the Rev spear is strong but isn't overpowered. Maybe once other stuff gets nerfed it could become the top dog. But I would be surprised if that happened

@homage3 roamer vs roamer didn't seem OP, but against isolated zerglings or cloud fighting builds its nasty (vindi is mostly the culprit), but thats the same as warrior where spellbr is the problem rather than the weapon, but unfortunately usually the weapon cops the nerf first

@@CarolinDnB Probably! Not sure though. A lot of EU revs are playing spear on herald. A lot of NA revs are playing vindi. If I was looking to play this in ATs I'd probably take vindi. But ATs are so different from ranked. I got to around 1530 rating with herald. I'm not a big leader board Andy, cuz I usually just play what I'm having fun with. But that's high enough for me to feel comfortable recommending a build.

@homage3 state of wvw has only gotten worse with spears haha, especially on warrior and guardians being more OP, rev spear is just clunky and is so avoidable😂. I haven't been seeing many revs overall in wvw, sorta dormant rn unless you play the salvation power vindi which is kinda boring 😮‍💨

@@maxu4615 Yeah that makes sense. PVP has people standing on capture nodes which makes landing spear shots easy. With no nodes it's probably not the best. Warr and guard spear are strong in PVP so I bet they're unbelievable in WVW

@homage3 another issue that arises is the fact that anet has to consider zerg gameplay so like condi rev is ok in zergs with condi and you dont really need to worry about anything else. but just like with scepter, it won't see the light of day in roaming most likely, and I personally liked scepter in beta as opposed to becoming a full zerg weapon when it dropped officially. Staff followed suite too with becoming heal based and cleansing, but it used to be the most godly weapon in wvw years ago for dps. Anet just hates the fact that they made rev and now don't know what to do with it😂

@@homage3 Warrior spear was practically built for wvw and is taking over there. Even with balance adjustments it'll remain good there since ranged aoe non-projectile weapons are the dream.
