Fun little game with some neat moments. Nothing too serious. I think I was around 1490 - 1500 elo at time of recording. Thanks very much for watching! Send me in-game mail - Homage.1786 Say hi on discord - Homage2783

Do poorly enough during your placements and you will end up in "fight on node" territory. You just have to claw your way out of there as fast as possible or risk going mad.

I'm learning so much lol, just subscribed. I'm really enjoying PvP after playing GW2 for a few months. It's the first time I'm enjoying PvP in any MMO actually, somehow I find it super engaging and interesting. Didn't know Jade Winds had that much range.

Always love hearing about new people getting into the game. GW2 PVP is one of the most engaging and satisfying PVP games I've ever played and I love sharing that with people. Glad you're finding my videos helpful and glad to have you here!

good commentary. I don't think having ability's that work both defensively (evades) and offensively(dmg) are not healthy game design. Also totally agree with what you said about not nerfing the class but nerfing vindicator.
@homage325 күн бұрын
I think that's a very fair critique! I'm really not a huge vindicator fan myself. If herald was stronger I'd probably only play that.

You are really doing work for the community by explaining rotations to newer pvp'ers. Keep it up!

Good gameplay man. Nice to see some people sharing some nice PVP content with comments for the community. If I can make one comment myself, I think overall you fight too much for nodes as you say, and not enough for momentum. All moments where you stayed at your node "defending" it but doing nothing, you lost the momentum and ended up losing the node. Kills and momentum are more important than nodes I think ! Especially considering your DPS class. Anyway, enjoy the game !
@homage325 күн бұрын
Thank you! You're definitely right sometimes you have to go for kills to snowball. I don't play every game perfectly, I make plenty of mistakes, even in the ones I cherry pick to upload.

nice video as always! its actually more than 25% damage modifier on vindicator, because percent modifiers stack multiplicatively, not additively

I don't really PvP at all, but I'm pretty consistently in WvW either roaming or in unorganized pug zergs. Any thoughts on how your build or tactics might vary in that context? Like I heard the salvation shade there, but I hesitate to lean only in tree song for condi removal. Also, any initial thoughts on their approach to buffing power renegade (+strike damage after band together)? I am cautiously optimistic.
@homage325 күн бұрын
I am really not much of a WVW guy. I just play when my friends are on. I'm only about level 500 or so. Usually in WVW I'll play invocation + salvation just so I stand a chance against all the Cele condi nonsense going on hahaha. My thoughts on renegade buffs are that I'm not very interested in renegade. I have some complains about it from a design standpoint that would take a complete rework from the ground up to address. If people enjoy it that's awesome but it's just not the spec for me!

Hi! dirst time i see ur videos, i like it :D. Is there alternatives to hammer? i do really like staff, and 2 swords (i have been always main herald, and im trying to learn vindi, having a hard time really). Do u think vindi 2 swords or greatsword and staff is as viable as ur build?
@homage33 күн бұрын
Hey you can certainly use dual swords and the staff! Rev is in a great place right now where most of the weapons you can use. I recommend using what you like the best. I just uploaded a video where I play herald with dual swords and staff!
@dakripaez12542 күн бұрын
The question was for dual sword and staff on vindi, i know herald usually plays fuadl sword and staff, and i saw ur latest video :D
@lapusso370424 күн бұрын
i really want to play vindicator or reve in general, but i feel like my hands cant do the job, like im constantly being preasure and triying to survive, but i cant preasure them, and when i try to do my combos they just dont take that much damage
@homage324 күн бұрын
Rev is definitely hard. Having good keybinds so you can easily use all your skills helps.
@butterpeanut106621 күн бұрын
Give relic of Zakiros a try! Its a solid new pick for devastation vindi.
@homage321 күн бұрын
Hey thanks for the recommendation dude - I know its a good one if it's coming from you. I've messed around with Zakiros on herald, I've been trying REALLY hard to find a good herald build to play in this meta. But I haven't tried it on Vindi, I'll definitely give it a shot.

how did you riposting shadows forward? I always have to turn my camera to the enemy to try to jump backwards
@homage37 күн бұрын
Ah this is an awesome question. It means you're about to take your Rev game to another level! I'm using a keybind called 'about face'. I have it bound to R, but youll have to set it to a key of your choice in the key binds options menu. If you hold down mouse 1, and press about face, your character will spin 180 degrees, but your camera stays in the same place. So you press 3 buttons Mouse 1 (hold), about face, riposting shadows

How you gain permanent Swiftness?
@homage323 күн бұрын
There's a trait in invocation that gives swiftness. As long as you have that you can use nomads advance to keep permanent swiftness
