fellow longbow zerker here. and I truly love scorched earth. Just want to ask, I I would appreciate if you give insight on this since I'm a relatively new player. I'm confused since longbow is a condi weapon but most longbow zerker build in the internet are all marauder, why not trailblazer's? and secondly, what's the maximum HP a dps should have in zergs? I'm doing 28-30k Hp sacrificing my dps since id rather live in a fight than spike my dps once only to get downed a second later. but I defer to your insight. tnx

Hello fellow berserker. Here's a quick answers: 1.) Blob fights in WvW mode revolve around the power, instant, and coordinated damage. Condition damage tends to be too slow and easily removable to make a significant impact on these fights. This is why players opt for Power gear like Berserker, Marauder, or Dragon one. 2.) If you receive decent support and your movement (staying with the commander, using dodge at the right moments) is effective, you can even use full Berserker gear. The main factors contributing to survivability in WvW fights are good movement and having support from teammates (stability, healing, and cleansing), not stacking Vitality. So join to organised group with proper parties structure and get a joy from fights.

@@DrOctawius thank you very much, it cleared my doubts now. I'm only following pugs so sometimes comps are not that perfect and Im forced to use self stabs and cleanse. but its all good. especially that even if I'm focused on being tanky, berserker can still give decent dps, i can still go top 10 dps in the squad. that's how great zerker is and that's before the buffs on the recent update.

Ruins of Surmia (EU). Berserkers were popular about a month ago. Already, there are fewer Berserkers, and the DPS meta is more diversified
