GW38 - The final punt | 126K - FPL 23/24 🇳🇿 (Top 2.1% OR avg)

I’ve got a couple of yellow flags, and a bit of a puzzle in front of me as to whether I should bring in Salah, and if so, who else alongside De Bruyne I’ll need to sacrifice in order to accommodate the Egyptian King one final time.
My FPL advice is to always try to consider as many different strategies, tactics, tips & tool usage from a diverse range of experienced FPL managers before making each decision during the fantasy premier league season. There are many gameweeks to play and many a gameweek to be won by a unique technique or strategy from a plethora of options put forward by considered, technical managers.

A red arrow was expected this week. 5 single gw pkayers plus a -4 to swap Mateta & Zabarnyi for Jackson and Akanji. Then took another -4 to swap Bruno for Gordon. Might've made the odd point there overall, but if I'd done the transfers in one go, I'd have had the money for Gvardiol!! So 119 after the -8. Solanke cost me a big return on Flekken while Saka really let me down. KDB to Salah seems prudent. I am envious of those 2 FTs! My issue is that I cannot really justify removing any if the players you mention apart from maybe Saka. But even that feels foolish. The safe transfer is prob Akanji to Gvardiol!

Well, if you managed to come out in the positive from a -8 then that is pretty well done in one week. Gvardiol though, if he was on the cards for you, must’ve been a painful 27 points to watch go by. 🙈 Avoiding the very slight risk of rotation and potentially nervy City affair to jump on Salah with pens, potentially playing his last game in the premier league, with what will probably be free reign to have a go given they can’t come 2nd or 4th is the best roll of the dice I can see. 🎲 If Saka plays he could do very well, however if he is actually injured, having an 8.8m asset sitting on the bench for the final day of the season won’t help the chances for a green in the final gameweek. For example, if both Akanji & Saka miss their fixtures entirely, it would make more sense to transfer Saka as he’s almost double the price. Tough spot.

My condolences. Great video. Deadline for this GW is later too, so you aren't actually late I think. I myself probably won't put much thought into my final GW of the season since I have nowehere to go 500k rank is too high and dropping out of 1 M rank is also quite unrealistic. Hopefully I don't jinx it.

Thanks mate. I typically release on a Friday each week, so I was a day late for this one. There are a lot of managers sitting clumped together in those rank tiers, each point you score more than the manager next to you is 5,700 places, so you can shift up the ranks in big enough jumps i.e. 9 points is a 50K rank jump. So, it’s worth playing for. Good luck for the last roll of the dice mate.

@@GKneeIssYT My initial goal was 100K, then 500K I think. Now it's 1 mil. I'm currently at 750K. I am however going with differential captain, so this might go both ways. 😋 Well with a day late it is same as usual if you consider that the deadline is also 1 day later. 😉
