I really wanted Seungmin to perform this song solo, it perfectly suits his crystal clear voice and sweet timbre. Seungmini really literally shines so much that it is impossible to take your eyes off when he sings, your heart flutters, tears flow and your breath catches. The way he uses his voice is the highest level of skill, everything is clear from Eukwang's reaction.

​@zuzannabrzeszczak1578 truth. The original message to me (and nobody come at me, we're all allowed to interpret music differently, which is the beauty of it) is kind of... blunt? Harsh? It is definitely either friends-with-benefits or keeping someone around until someone you like better comes along. A time-filler or place-holder, if you will. They want to keep their options open to be able to see what else is out there. The protagonist sees the person as someone they wouldn't have a problem dropping without a second thought but would like to call you if they are either bored or going through a dry spell lol. But a positive take is that at least the protagonist respects the person enough to shut that sh*t down before the other person gets any ideas. They want to let them know to not get any expectations because they at least like them enough to not want them to hurt when they inevitably end it, and they DO plan on ending it one day. But yes, this version's vibe feels more like someone who's afraid to open THEMSELVES up to get hurt, so they keep the other at arm's length so they stay in control. They're like a skittish feral cat who runs away when you get close enough to pet it. Sorta like, I've been hurt by someone who acted like they loved me before-- "never again"
