Gwanhee's Q&A has caused a couple of misunderstandings with fans. I am here to shed light on some things he said. This video is based on my observation and opinion. Watch the video till the end to get a better grasp of what's going on.

Our thoughts are in alliance! I agree completely with your logic regarding Gwanhee and Hyeseon. Gwanhee has such deep respect for her and he truly wants to protect her private life while she pursues her academic goals in England. Gwanhee was emotionally drained and in pain after he made his announcement on You Tube about not dating her. This couple is learning how to protect their growing bond and move it away from the cameras and media scrutiny. Regardless of whether they end up getting married, they truly fell in love on that show and realized that their bond is no joke. It must be scary for them to have accidentally fallen in love in front of the world, they were NOT acting!

You are correct! He based everything on hyeseon. Minji was only is back up. He knew he was losing hyeseon when they had that talk and she told him to pick minji. It didn't completely hit him until she cried...that was when he knew he'd lose her for good had he picked minji. She told him she would block him and he knew she meant it then. Her telling him she go back to the first day was letting him she should have never invested her time on him and speech while crying was definitely her telling him goodbye. He picked up on it when he noticed she never looked his way again. He then he couldn't lose her. She meant to much to him and his tears served as his validation that he was too emotionally connected to her

Yes, I definitely agree! I don't think Minji's crying affected his choice either way. When he found out she cried on the helicopter it was more like he got confirmation that she liked him and although he felt sorry about it, he didn't have the same reaction that he had with Hyeseon crying simply because Gwanhee wasn't falling in love with Minji and therefore his feelings of remorse were only directed at Hyeseon. You can say and do hurtful things towards people that you're not emotionally attached to and yes you might feel bad BUT you don't have a gut punch reaction to having hurt them like you do when you realize you've hurt someone that you really care about. It's a different feeling. I think Gwanhee was extremely affected when he saw Hyeseon crying because he realized that HE hurt someone that he was falling in love with and that's when he also realized that she was crying because of how much SHE truly cared about him AND THAT helped him get over any lingering doubts he had about her feelings. I think he was always worried that the feelings between them were more one sided on his part. Don't forget you had the guys feeding him false stories about Hyeseon liking Wonik so he was confused. He trusted them and he wanted to trust Hyeseon but was afraid to. Guys generally stick with guys. I love the comment "Hyeseon is such a good woman" so he is very well aware of what a mistake it would be to let her slip through his hands. I think Gwanhee is realizing how much he needs to parse his words when he speaks and you can see that sometimes he checks himself in mid comment and tries to clean up what he just said so that people won't try to interpret what he said. But we do that anyway. I think he gives us a nibble without letting us take a bite 🤣 I think this video took place when they were both in Korea so when he eluded to the fact that he hoped that he would see her soon it actually meant that he was on his way to see her after the interview but of course he can't tell us that 🥰 I think with all of the recent negative press with certain Korean couples (Han So Hee/Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri) to be exact, more celebrities are realizing that they need to keep a lid on their relationships because of how quickly things can go awry. I believe that Lee Junho and Yoona are together and have been for a long time BUT they are being very secretive about it even though their fans would love nothing more for the two of them to admit it publicly, they are doing that simply because they know that when you acknowledge something publicly then the public feels that they have a right to comment on it. When Lee Seung Gi announced his engagement and soon to be wedding to his non celebrity fiancé, Netizens were outraged simply because her mother had some sort of negative press about tax evasion and they transferred their negative thoughts onto his fiancé but he held firmly and married her and they have a baby. I just remember reading the negative comments about how he shouldn't marry her. It's deplorable how some fans are. I love that, Gwanhee said that he is thinking of trying to meet someone. He meant he's trying to meet up with Hyeseon without all of the watchful eyes following his every move. He thinks it's time to think about marriage. He said on Singles Inferno that Hyeseon is marriage material. You do the math! I wish Gwanhee and Hyeseon will one day feel comfortable enough to acknowledge their feelings. They might be waiting for her to finish school. I think she might have one year left? I think they want to be as private as they can while they can. Keep the videos coming please!

Hi my KZbin friend. I agree with your assessment. I also think that the reason he said he chose her when she cried was not just because of that, It was because he cried as well from her reaction. It affected him in a tremendous way. He tried to contain himself, but he couldn’t. He knew at that point that it was more than just infatuation. But what haunted him was not knowing if she felt the same way. Especially since she didn’t express what she did about wonik to clear his and everyone’s doubts. There’s definitely some insecurity and pride there. He wants to win period. It also seems like he usually gets his way. But that’s also women’s fault just like the women on the show, they chase these men. He didn’t expect a girl like her hyeseon to be there and rock his world, He also said in this Q&A that his feelings were sincere, and that she was the best choice. He also mentioned that he was intimidated by her and that is because she’s a very confident woman. The girls that were on the show did not have that maturity or confidence that was attractive to him. And especially with having the idea of marriage in mind. So pity is not in the equation for choosing her. He simply pitied the pain. he caused her. I really think he’s a good guy and that they make a great couple and I look forward to the future plans that they have. She’s perfect for him. He’s perfect for her as well. There was a short video..... I think it was after the match that Hyeoseon attended that evening ..... where Heajong is saying, " You should Thank me for this day....." and I think she meant that LGH should thank her for bringing CH to the Basketball game..... That short video quickly disappeared and I am still wondering what happened to it. Also what puzzles me is Why they never appear together on social media while they do appear with the other members..... Why? Are they worried that we as their shippers will SEE how they feel about each other..... Mh? Finally when CH was unboxing her gifts and saw a snap of LGH ..... didn't she giggle and say, " Someone Special..." I am totally with you when you say You have not given up on them yet..... GwanHee chose HyeSeon because of his deep connection with her. He weighed his option to much between HS and Minji because he knew HS will leave the country for studies and his purpose to join SI3 is to have a relationship because his ready for commitment. Minji open heartedly offered that to him. But still Love wins. I knew in that 1 week he fell deep to HyeSeon. I love them both 🥹💚

how could people interpret his answers literally? from watching the show, we know hows gwanhee when it comes to “answering”. the camp fire episode was the most “close” he and hyeseon has ever been. they connected emotionally when she cried. he knew then definitely that he likes her the most and was hit with so much pain at the realization that shes bidding him goodbye in a subtle way

There are many things that make it clear that Gwan Hee had something special for Hyseon. that he did not feel for the others. First of all, as he always said, he only cared about her, he is a very respectful boy, but with her much more, and something that Nafie mentioned, he never got involved. to the pool or Jacuzzi with anyone,❤Min ji is a beautiful and very seductive girl and she only managed to make him walk around the Hotel room but nothing more, and even though she was more direct than anyone else with him, in fact when Hysean told her he had been in the Jacuzzi with Gwan Hee, Minji was very surprised and said 'he didn't do it with me'..

I am a fan of the show and follow up their video and IG. For my personal feeling, I think they did try and had been together before. But for some reasons, they broke up. From his video, I think his answer is definitely talking hyeseon say he prefers round and cute face! Hopefully in his vacation, he can fly to England and meet “someone”. If he is going to find someone to get married, he should actively do sth 😂. Btw, he said he doesn’t prefer long distance love and needs to see each other very often in his claiming video, but I doubt that he is very busy during the basketball season, in fact, the gf also cannot meet up with him often. I have been on this ship and sat firmly 😂. However, I think I will give up soon. Not because they are not a good match but because I feel like he hasn’t learned anything. why is he after followers and likes if he is rich. Why is he talking about hajongs face and how he does not like it or going on a date with sieun. I had some thoughts when I saw his Q&A, and your analysis was almost spot on in agreement with my own. There were times in the past when I thought that some small parts of your analyses were reaching a bit, but this one was a close match to mine. I'm glad you pointed out "firmly", because I noticed that as well. I had a feeling his ratio was high for Hye-seon, but it wasn't 100% yet. The crying (and his subsequent reaction) was when he was 100% sure, ie, *firmly*. Oh, and one possibility of mentioning Jin-seok is because he wants to be with Jin-seok (Yes, I ship Gwan-Jin as well!).

I saw many shippers making excuses about this Q&A saying that it's just jokes and humor or blaming the translation, hyeseon already said once in an interview that the worst thing about love is the fear of not being enough, I think if she had a boyfriend making "jokes" saying that he would like to go to paradise with her friends, or saying that he would hesitate again but he THINKS he would choose her in the end again, that was the best choice AT THAT MOMENT, and a lot of others things he did before that video too.. that could be a very resonable fear, sad seeing a person that was so confident saying this. The way he talks about women is just disgusting, like he can still see them lined up for him to always make the choice, his imaginary harem that I hope hyeseon will be free one day . Both his "jokes" (that I don't know why you all think it's a joke because after watching him anyone could believe he really wants to go with sieun too) and his honesty (he would hesitate again but thinks.. he decided after she cried..) indicate a lack of feelings for Hyeseon, you guys think that "I would choose her again she was also a good woman" is already good enough for hyeseon? dont you think she can find someone better that actually loves her? gwanhee is narcissistic egocentric and his feelings are easily swayed, he is also a liar (fails even at the most basic requirement for relationship that is trust) he lied to her several times in the show when he was stirring up all the girls at the same time, after hajeong got angry, he removed her from the list, and in that famous conversation with hyeseon in the table he showed he also lies when confronted. he lied shamelessly to both hyeseon and minji in the last episodes.
