RIP. I didn't realize this ride closed. So many memories of it being the roughest ride I have ever been on, but loved it anyways. If you didn't leave with a bruise, you rode it wrong. lol.

I'm a roller coasteraholic and the wooden Gwazi was the only one that ever intimidated me. The vibration was enough to give you a headache and once I was holding on so tight I broke a rib. I visited Busch Gardens two years ago and asked a park attendant why the ride was closed. He told me too many people were getting hurt. I smiled being reassured maybe I'm not such a wuss after all.

Got my mom to ride this because I figured it would not be as intense as the other coasters with the Steep drops and loops. But this coaster has a different level of intensity and if you've been on a wooden coaster you know what I mean. Surprised they don't give out body armor and helmets! You better be tough.

I can say I rode the original. It was tough but there was this cool guy who just let us stay on the ride until we got sick of it because there was no line when I went.

Back in 2008, my wife and I waited for awhile to ride this. It started raining and they closed it. So we didn’t get the coaster credit. I did get Iron Gwazi last year.

I wish I had the chance to ride this. I never been on a roller coaster went there yesterday and hit everyone of them and I remember my dad telliume about a wooden coaster to go on he hasn't been there in forever he didn't know so I'm looking around and come across the new iron gwazi and in in awe. This is crazy looking tallest one yet shikra is 200 ft while gwazi is 207 now. It's not open yet but boy I can't wait it looks intense.

This was the first roller coaster I had ever gone on and I was like ten. I was with my aunt, who was a pretty big woman at the time, and I remember being squished like a freaking tomato twenty times over. Good times!

Those upset about the ride being closed it w was being turned into a Rocky Mountain Construction hybrid coaster meaning its being revamped and made more intense it recently just opened under the new name Iron Gwazi
