Love Purple Irises. Blake's strong manly voice comes through so well in the parts he sings alone. And when they sing together he tones it down. Magical together. And I always enjoy Gwen. I've also noticed her voice has deepened, but I enjoy her anyway. 😊

Gwen still sounds good, but seems to have lost a top octave? They've tuned some of the songs down an octave, it seems? I bet she can still do it, but she kinda did a bit of Britney's "baby voice" back in the day. That "trick" is a total long term vocal killer. So, not worth it to keep trying. BTW, she sounded great singing purple irises. It's a lower tuning, much more laid back. She's not old, but it's hard to play the high energy music you wrote in your teens and early 20s into your 50s.

She can't consistently do the "baby voice" affect nor should she as Britney has demonstrated, it will ruin your vocal cords. Ariana grande won't even do her britney impersonations anymore due to the risk to her voice. Why am I talking about britney on a gwen video? Because I stand by gwen used that baby voice too. It was just popular during that time. Gwen is wise to no longer attempt it. I think she can, but why would she risk damage to her voice? some people complain she doesn't sound like she used to. Well, she doesn't. And it's both physical maturation and a conscious choice. 1:18:26 Cali Vibes was great. Gwen had the worst performance by a long shot of the 3 days imo but it was still very enjoyable. She definitely got better as the show went on and I get shes 54 but she doesnt have to sound like shes 70 for half the set. The shell of herself would do decent in southern rock or heart covers or something. The voice commentating simply isn't justified at this point. Kinda pissed me off when she asked everyone what song we wanted to hear (Saw Red or Total Hate) then she tells us she figures that shell tell us and we should be okay with it like okay? Cali Vibes is too good for Gwen and her superstar plastic egocentric sob stories. Im grateful to have seen her but never again ✌️

I agree with some of your comment. I think vocally, her performance wasn't what I expected. I seen No Doubt back in 1996 and I realize some years have passed since Gwen's hay day but.....I think the stage performance was ok but her voice seemed very strained and tired. Not the Gwen we are all used to hearing.
