You should definitely check out Rina Sawayama’s album. The guitars on that rip harder than the guitars on a lot of rock albums nowadays. You’ll love it. Dynasty has a sick solo. And stuff like Who’s Gonna Save You Now, STFU, and XS just fucking rock. I have no idea how she isn’t the biggest pop star in the world right now. Also you might like Poppy. She started off as sort of a bubblegum pop pastiche and then pivoted into being like sort of an American answer to Babymetal. Though at this stage I think Poppy’s stuff has become more embraced by the metal community than the pop one.

@@CarbonBeast Sometimes it takes getting older to realize how much you never knew about yourself. And I don't mean turning 90. I mean, in your 30s, for some people it is their 40s, you begin to see how much you COULD have done when you were younger. But you didn't. And sometimes you then feel like it might be too late. Because there is always a catch to what you want to do and where you want to be... and that catch is TIME. There is always a process to accomplish something, to become the person you thought you could be - or the person you never even thought of, but now you KNOW and now you feel discouraged because you have finally figured it out, but you just NEED MORE TIME. Well, this song... it helps to put our minds in the perspective of "it is NOT too late." That's it. Honestly, it is just that simple. And by that, I mean it is just that fucking complicated. Because when you get older, when you pass that 20s threshold of "I have infinity and beyond"... you complicate and you doubt yourself and you lose perspective. And then you lose hope. But this message - it is a reminder and a proper kick in the ass that we just gotta get the fuck out of that failure mindset! And do what we need to do , what we CAN STILL FUCKING DO, to make something of ourselves. RIGHT NOW. Not later. Not tomorrow. And goddammit, not fucking yesterday or fifteen years ago. Do. It. Now. Because we are all still super hot females and males and people (hot means driven! it means full of life and love!) and we have so much life within us to be human, and be great, and be ourselves... and we all matter. And we can all make a difference to whatever it is we need and want to. We just need to believe in ourselves. Fuck any haters and their criticism. You be you. You are human, you are amazing, and you fucking matter. So whatcha waiting for? Get off your ass and be the person you know you fucking are. We all support you. We are all in the same boat one day or another. xo Love and Respect to every person. 💖✌

I used to love this song as a kid, but listening now as an adult woman I only now actually understand what the song is about. So many women feel this, and hopefully hearing someone like Gwen Stefani sing about it really does make you feel less alone and less miserable.

Trey Stephens I guess you mean the Marilyn Manson fans. I, particularly, do not find it original, I find it extravagant. Overacting and their songs are horrible. Sorry to vent me, but I'm not one of those who connect with artists that I do not like to put a "I do not like" but this case is the case to say it. I do not like The Queen either and I have never put a finger down because my way of saying I do not like it, is not even enter their videos.

Lol I love Gwen but there was a healthy industry of folks in the states who were obsessed with Japanese culture before she discovered it. When she released this song I was already very into JFashion myself so I was VERY into this era. lol
