I had a garo nepali mix friend who went missing at Vijayawada jn. (Most probably) on his way to find employment at B'lore. It was in 2018 or 2019. Even now there's no news about his whereabouts.

Locals have enough shops in their city to cater them, they dont need footpath disturbance. The indian govt is fooling others with largest train network to dump poverty from two states to burden other states. Are other indian states penalised for controlling their population. If your city doesnt have railway station, u are lucky to not get poverty migration .

Vijaywada station is one of the worst station/route for thief, those thief would come as a duplicate police with proper uniform and id card, i remember 10 years ago one of my friend we were traveling by train n in the midnight we went to wash room but unfortunately those thief in the uniform stop us n threatening us throwing all the wrong accusations, we were not given a chance to say a word, whenever we try to speak he will slap/punch/kick us, n that thief took us to one compartment to another compartment asking for ₹6000 n if we don't giv money as he demand he will kill n throw us from the train, he snatched our phones n he asked us to open the door n even tried to push us in the running train in the midnight, we were just helpless nobody turn up for our help, it was a horrific n a nightmare etc,etc,etc,,, but miraculously the lord saved us from those dirty evils hands. Be careful my dear friends when u r traveling through VIJAYAWADA thats a worst routes to travel full of thiefs n blood suckers there.
