If private vehicles are also allowed to ply by this same route instead of the new chumu road by giving specific timing for Light and heavy vehicle going up and vehicles coming down then there will be a huge relief especially for small vehicles. For example- Going up to kohima- Light vehicles- 4 am to 8 am Heavy vehicle- 3 pm to 6 pm Coming down to Dimapur Light vehicles- 12 pm to 3 pm Heavy vehicles- 8 am to 12 pm And Sunday only Heavy vehicle

It's only for our safety. If a rock falls, the chances of survival for heavy vehicle occupants are much greater than those in small cars. If say the authorities followed your suggestion and a rock falls and kills people in small cars, whom are the public gonna blame? We Nagas are very good at blaming the authorities for everything.

Why Nagaland Media House reports only from Dimapur? Day & Night only reporting from Dimapur. Even the death of rat caught the attention of media in Dimapur. Whereas, there is big problem of road blockade near Kohima Old Dumping site which goes unreported. Only local KZbinr doing justice at the moment.

Highway is public road and all vehicle owners have paid road tax, then why discrimination? No one is Stone proof and it's the destiny. Let everyone enjoy the road without biases. 2 months is too long and going by the report Nhidcl is not serious, doing substandard work with bare machineres.Nhidcl should be made to pay compensation to LMV owners for wear and tear while traveling through bye pass which is fit for off roaders.Seen may vehicles broke down on the mountain road.Nagas should not be taken for granted.

Where is the work in progress I Don't see any progress ,plying essential vihicle does not mean progress it has been running the next day that wash away the road. We can't trust the assurance given by construction co, they say month but the reality is different worker's are the real people who knows how long it may take and they are saying 3 or 4 months so lets not expect the completion any sooner

Kindly put forward the complaint to National Highway dept. or the State Government not the reporter. According to National Highway norms it is mentioned as ‘PAGALA pahar’ .
